    The keys were down to 1000 only keys then it jumped to 9999 I guess they got more keys, or its a counting error (changing from 1000 to 9999 instead of 999)

     

    In 60 mins I will see if I have a key

    Probably unlimited number of keys if they were smart. 

     

    Great deal for Wildstar to get some server stress. They could probably charge Alienware $5 per key also, since cost per acquisition for them is probably crazy big. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's just a revolving door until they hit the ceiling of whatever it is Alienware is willing to spend.

    They had 10,000 keys when it started around 4 hours ago, but I think at some point they ran out, and they posted 10,000 more. I secured mine before heading here, seems pretty big chances getting one, so good luck. One thing is for sure - 20,000 keys sure beats the poor 1,000 keys that were offered here to be randomly given to 1-post accounts created the same day of the give-out. I hope mmorpg.com can take the criticism, not about the number of keys given, which I suspect is not up to them to decide and they gave out as many as they could - but about giving keys to 1-post accounts over real contributing members.

    My opinion is my own. I respect all other opinions and views equally, but keep in mind that my opinion will always be the best for me. That's why it's my opinion.

    The devs posted on their main page they are not giving out any more 'closed' beta key, but will be giving out weekend keys.

    Still 3 days of checking out this game should be fun.

    Seems like there's no limit to how many beta keys you can sign up for. Good news for those wanting to grab keys for friends and family this weekend!

     

    Edit: Looks like they have more than 20k. The counter reset back to 9999 again. I'm betting they had 40k keys to give away and making it look limited.

    Got my wildstar client downloading and am psyched to finally get into it and experience it first hand now! woot for beta keys!

    Me too, Im so looking forward to it and hoping its all that im hoping it will be. I know I kinda got a let down with ESO, but wildstar seems more my style. Here's to looking forward to a good beta tryout!

    just woke up and missed out on the  keys.. if anyone has a spare I would love to get one please. more than willing to keep in touch and get you back one way or another.

    Would love to give this game a try.. Have been following it since about 2,5 years ago :)

    Have been following Wildstar for a while and would love to give it a try this weekend. Tried ESO recently and would be great to compare the two to see which I'll be playing down the road. Thanks!
