Behold: The new Messiah game on MMORPG.com...

Rejoice!  A new "story driven" game release is coming soon to join all of the other "story driven" games already out! You know, the ones you aren't playing because you are bored to death with them or they are "broken".  This one will surely be the best story driven mmo that has ever been released, just like the ones before it were.

With fewer features than any story driven mmo ever before, this game will surely be a casual solo player's delight, for a whole month!  Choose between fake action-oriented combat, or tab targeting.  It matters not!  Collect fat loot from static carbon-copy containers spread all around the game world, because the developers decided creating mobs was too much work!  Sign up now with your credit card and pay monthly for contrived mundanity in its most pure gaming form.

Expansion Pack:  You'll be one of at least 75% of fanboys to come back here to these forums and post your own hate-filled rant after you finally figure out everything wrong with the game that was painstakingly pointed out months before release by beta testers and bittervets.  You won't feel the slightest bit embarrassed by the fact that you sung the game's praises from every mountain top just 30 days prior! Go ahead, sell that soul!

Pre-Order Now!

A sure sign that you are in an old, dying paradigm/mindset, is when you are scared of new ideas and new technology. Don't feel bad. The world is moving on without you, and you are welcome to yell "Get Off My Lawn!" all you want while it happens. You cannot, however, stop an idea whose time has come.

You could have made a greater effort to add some humour, might have been real funny. It just seems to be something left-over from your argument with Iselin.  image

It's truth, funny or not. ;)

Well, truth being subjective and all, I still would rather have had some levity. These argument thread on which game is this or that because of this or that gets tedious and repetitive. Not saying you have nothing new to bring to the table..just not in this one. image

Did someone get up on the wrong side of the bed today?  It's just a game that may or may not be fun for some unspecified amount of time to some unspecified number of people.  It's not like ESO kicked your dog or something.

I was sincerely hoping this would be heralding The Stick of Truth as the Messiah game.

(Tired brain saw the title and the front page image :P)

OnTopic though: It's a negative viewpoint to come at it from... but even sadder that it's probably warranted too... I personally loved the beta tests (more so than previously hyped games) and still think that if AVAVA doesn't hold me this will end up like every other MMO.

I, however, don't think this is solely the fault of the games but us, the consumer just as much.

    OP.

Go play one of them sandbox mmos...they are soooooo fun. Yeah.

The story is what is so good about the game and the series for that matter.

I have no fear of having my thread deleted by mods.  I've already seen this whole scenario play out on this site for the past 6+ years, over and over again.  It never stops being hilarious to me. The best part is when I see some of you make the same mistake game in and game out.

...and yet another scrounger who hopes that he will eventually get a free ride on other people's money if he just keeps repeating the same old tripe.

Looks like a classic drunk post of mine.

If it's not broken, you are not innovating.

started out interested in what you had to say...

then realized mid-way the whole thing was sarcasm...

then realized it was neither funny nor an accurate representation of the game.
