Shouldn't you at least wait for them to offically release/launch an MMO before making such a proclamation?
"Best" could be premature, but most responsive to concerns this close to release may be fair.

I don't know about best ever - since they have released it yet. But certainly zenimax because of Bethesda is considered one of the best developers in the world. I'd put Rockstar Games ahead of them - but that's about it. Blizzard used to be better as well but I personally don't think they are the same company anymore with so many recent failures.
I might be in the minority on this one, but the most exciting thing I got from those notes was the FOV slider. Thank you, Zenimax. I hate games with cramped FOV and no ability to widen it.
You have to give them a little props for being proactive and at least acknowledging that people have complained about the issue and are looking into things. With 4/4 around the corner they could easily sit on their laurels but they actually did a legit poll and actually read them AND might even address the issues. O_O
If they were ArenaNet they'd probably ignore it until 1.5 years later after a chunk of the player have already been made to feel a way.

That was a common complaint people had about first person view. Personally, I almost never use FPV. But the few times I did I also thought the FOV was too tight. Especially good news for those of you who use it a lot.

I already use FPV a lot, despite it feeling a little too "constricted" if you will. I think I will use it even more now.

I like FPV in ESO and this will make it even more useful. I wonder if you will be able to set this up on three monitors with the UI on the center one? 5760 X 1200 with 160 degrees of field of view.
They are repairing groups getting mixed up in different phases..
they are really improving the game each and every day....
by the time the console version gets released it will be perfect... Which is actually incredible for an MMO.... After that they can start pushing new content..
Didn't you say the same about GW2 about how amazing the devs were? How much blind faith do you people actual have?
An average MMO gets fixed to be more average...awesome
with the hidden changes and purposely vague patch notes of the last week, they have quickly slid from a company with the balls and fortitude to make a game in their own vision, to ZOS is now a two-bit POS developer that caves to the screams of people that wont even be playing their game to begin with. ANY favor they had gained over the 1 year long beta process they have squandered in the last three days with their REVOLUTIONARY GAME CHANGES just 2 weeks before launch.

They sure are fixing a lot of stuff...
But until they FIX stuff they just have a lot of things that need fixing.

I am absolutely LOVING the improvements lately! I hope they keep it up. NOW is the time to put every last effort into it.
These guys have really got their eye on the ball, and It shows.
They are definitively a productive bunch. And that's a very reassuring thing.
I havent played a class based system in about 6 years. I have no plans on starting.
Skill based only please

Huh!
That is one subtle link. Try as I might I cannot see any connection between this thread and your reply.
If I said 'Zenimax's development of ESO is an antiquated approach to MMO design and I do not think they are very good'
would that have made more sense? One can extrapolate above from what I orginally said.
