This build allows a Light Armor Sorcerer have just as much Armor as any Heavy Armor tank but with much more Spell Resistance. Another key advantage of this build is the ability to kite bosses via Ball of Lightning. The second bar will have plenty of AoE strength for fights that demand tanking adds as well.
Race Choices
Imperial, Nord, and Orc The ultra tank races. With these races emphasizing on Max Health, Max Stamina, and Heath Recovery you will surely be a difficult person to take down.
Breton, Altmer, Dunmer More versatile options. These will bring more Magicka passives to the build allowing for easier AoE and kiting capability.
Ability Points
49 Health / 0 Magicka / 0 Stamina Its a tanking build, so yeah.
Mundus Stone
This should vary based on your stats.

The Ritual Increases the heals you receive. I would use this if health, stamina, and magicka were all at comfortable levels.
The Lord If you somehow havent already overcharged your health, this Mundus Stone should do the trick.
The Lover Use this stone if the fight you are getting stuck on has a lot of spell damage.
The Atronach For the kind of tank that likes kite with Balls of Lightning.
Weapons and Armor
Sword and Board The One Handed weapon isnt very important as far as deciding which type or what traits to use. The Shield should have Reinforced trait though.
Destruction Staff For the second bar have a destruction staff ready to AoE when needed.
7 Light Armor You will have plenty of armor already so might as well take advantage of the spell resistance that comes with Light Armor.
Action Bar 1 Tanking & Kiting
Keep the buffs and debuffs up throughout the entire fight. Bound Aegis is a one time cast so the only buffs you have to worry about keeping up is Thundering Presence and Ring of Preservation.
Ransack Taunt ability
Thundering Presence Increases Armor and Spell Resistance but has to be reapplied every 9 seconds. This is where having a Magicka recovery comes in handy and why some of the non-tanky races might execute this build easier.
Ring of Preservation Area of Protection buff that increases Armor and Spell Resistance.
Ball of Lightning Teleport spell with the ability to absorb projectiles for 6.5 seconds. You can use this spell to kite bosses or protect yourself and your group from projectiles.
Bound Aegis Increases Armor and is a one time buff. This turns your Light Armor into Heavy Armor.
Suppression Field Puts up an aura that increases Spell Resistance. It will silence and stun non-boss mobs as well.
Action Bar 2 AoE
Switch to the Destruction Staff to pick up the adds or help DPS trash.
Critical Surge This allows you to increase your AoE DPS for trash clears.
Ring of Preservation Helps keep you tanky when you switch to the staff.
Pulsar Primary AoE spell.
Restraining Prison Used to snare groups of adds for the DPS to help AoE.
Bound Aegis Keeping it on both bars means you dont have to reapply it during the fight if you switch action bars.
Suppression Field If you are dealing with adds then this ultimates stun and silence will be incredibly useful.
Key Passives
Entire One Hand and Shield passive tree
Entire Destruction Staff passive tree
Entire Light Armor passive tree
Entire Storm Calling passive tree
Entire Dark Magic passive tree
Power Stone Decreases Ultimate cost
Daedric Protection Increases health recovery
