in Guild Wars

im not trying to criticise GW here. just trying to get some infos. i just started playing GW two days ago, and altough im in no position to rate this game i already have the feeling ive seen it...ive done some quests, gained some lvls, gotten some skills, done pvp...now what? the only reason i havnt kicked this game yet, is that its free so i can still play SWG and COH. since im not really looking forward to achieving anything in GW i guess i can let this game be for a couple of months and come back later (COH for example had me hooked cause i just had to get a cape, and i just had to have a toon that can fly. SWG had me hooked cause i just had to have an animal to ride and i just had to get that cool stormtrooper armor....GW has me hooked because.....urm.....). im just looking for a reason to keep playing this game. if anyone can tell me anything cool thats gonna come, ill have something to look forward to until then im playing COH again.

    Yeah, I guess you'll be hooked with GW a month or two, then it will boring unless the new expansion will offer something sweet...

    Guild vs. Guild is what else there is.
    Either find or create a really good guild, figure out some good builds, and good strategies, then put them to work, and try and work your way up the ladder. I am sure there will be a lot more cool things to come out, but the GvG or 8v8 is really fun. You may not be a person who is in to first person shooters, but that is kind of what the pvp is like in this game, something you can just do over and over and it is always fun, except in this game compared to first person shooters, you have to actually continue to make good strategies, cause once your strategy that was always successful starts to fail all the time, then you gotta make a new one.

    yeah, i guess thats it. GW isnt a bad game, its just designed for the broader mass and the broader mass loves first person shooters and lots of action. its not really for me, which is sad cause the visuals are beautiful

    It is really fun for me and I like that. If you are not into the GvG and stuff like that then, you should try out Dark & Light when that comes out in November, cause that game looks really cool. I am probably gonna get that game too. A cool thing about Guild Wars, is that you can play it for fun once in awhile, when you get bored of level grinding in those other games, or for whatever reason you choose.
    But who knows, maybe Guild Wars will come out with more things that you would like, with their new expansions.
