But yeah, it does look pretty "legit". Nice to see this type of stuff is possble, although i'd be curious to see a comparison to how this type of warlock build compares to (for example) a Warlock build that uses a mage base.
So you mean Sorc base?
Yes, that's what i meant. I don't really get all the WoW references since i've never played that. I just meant Warlock in terms of "male witch, dark magic", etc., not relating to any other game.

Even WOW Warlocks came in 3 varieties. He was going for something that resembles the Affliction lock variety built around the Siphoning DOTs. Affliction locks were known for many DOTs + self-healing. But adding the fire staff and AOE fire skills resembles the 2nd WOW Warlock variety, the Destruction one...he ended up with something that resembles a hybrid of those two,
The 3rd WOW Warlock, the Demonologist is known for its demonic pets. You'd need a Sorcerer specializing in summoning here to mimic that.
Warlock was always my favorite class in WOW. I've played all 3 types at one time or another although I favored the Affliction variety.

I, for one, am extremely impressed by the robustness of play styles that can be employed by just one class. Seeing as how skills and leveling are a huge part of the modern RPG experience, I think Zenimax created something really special here (albeit they may have borrowed stuff from other games). Videos like this are making me very enthusiastic about playing ESO.
