Which Of The Mundus Stones Are Best Suited For Your Character Build?

Everyone can use enhancing Mundus Stones BUT you can only use one at a time. Interacting with a new Mundus Stone will remove the effects you had with a previous stone. This makes them kind of important as you will need to use different ones in different situations.

Just one small piece of a big build, dont think these buffs will be overly important

Maybe not overly important but you will want to make use of them!

I imagine I would change depending on situation. I am starting out playing a NB caster build so there are some obvious ones to choose from but I'd like to know how they impact overcharged stats first.

no idea what these even are, first I have heard of them. So much new to learn.

There are 13 of them and each one does something different. It's a passive ability (you just need to have it for it to work). For example: The Mage Increases maximum magicka and The Apprentice increases your spell penetration.

As there are soft and hard caps on max magic and stamina and also caps on the regen of  magic, stamina and health. I think I would go for a non capped stat, like run speed or critical strike damage. So that would be The Steed or The Shadow for me

Very good point. maybe throw in The Lover once in a while to reduce spells when needed

Thank you for the link!  I hadn't heard of these yet.  I think they will be a supplement to what your gear already provides.  It's very interesting that all of them are in Cyrodiil (although they are scattered through the rest of the world), making their buffs potentially strategic. I'm looking forward to reading more fleshed out info on the effects and duration.

I plan on playing a Dragon Knight tank, So I think I'll take The Lady which increases armor.

Thanks for the info folks. I wasn't really aware of this and I appreciate the heads up.

Thanks, I remember these now from Skyrim, but appreciate the refresher course.

I haven't figured out what character/build I'm going to try to create yet, so no clue which would benefit most.

I agree with that, kindof important, important enough to make sure you use them.. But not important enough to break a build..

in the end, people will look at their current build ( armor stats based) and use things like this to fill in the weak spots of their build

That's exactly it... "using them to fill in the weak spots of your build" - most builds would, I think, choose two stone to switch between depending on the zone, enemies in the area and what your current objectives are

I liked The Steed for PvP (and I found it in Cyrodiil). I doubt it's optimal, but movement speed seemed like a great idea since I didn't have a horse. :P

I think they need to redo a couple... if anything an increase in Penetration should be The Lover not The Apprentice.

I was also thinking that after this weekend's beta, the mundus stone percentages (and other stats) certainly may change

How do you get a horse if you don't buy the Imperial Edition?

The one with the crafting bonus.

    Oh wait..

You can just save up for a horse, I would check a mounts guide that tells you which is best to buy and how to feed them and raise their stats.
