Site can be SLOW

There are times when it can take 20 to 30 seconds to login or open a thread or whatever.  I don't know if you have the LIve Streams going through the same pipe as your database server or what, but seriously consider hiring someone who can properly design and maintain a database server.

    Ive noticed this to... I know its not me because any other site I go to is loading fine. Over the last week or so this site is bogging down badly... Today not that bad /shrug

    That's true but recently I've noticed it being "extra slow".

    I've had to refresh the page several times, still didn't load and even shut the browser down, got rid of any cookies that might be there and tried again and it still was slow.

    Not sure why though today it seems fine.

    It was pretty bad for a lot of us yesterday in particular. I know we're looking into it. Seems fine today, though.

    No lie, when I clicked the link for this thread I lagged for 20 secs before hitting the back button and trying again.
