I ordered the EVGA GeForce 750 ti SC 2GB from Amazon and while it's sitting there waiting another week for it to ship I have done more and more research and am struggling with the decision is if it is worth it/should I cancel the order. I got the card before the price started skyrocketing ($159)
So I ask you:
Would this be a significant upgrade to a GTX 560 (non ti) 1GB or should I wait out for a larger leap in performance? The games I play could use a bit more of a boost. I OC my 560 with EVGA Precision X (I don't OC my CPU cause that scares me: i5 760 2.80 GHz even though it's old and could use some boosting too)..I OC my GPU clock to 1000Mhz. I don't touch any voltage or memory clock settings. I am just really wanting to run as close to a constant 60 FPS in The Elder Scrolls Online (high/ultra settings)and maybe even a playable FPS for a heavily modded and ENB enabled Skyrim which I currently run at ~25FPS with the ENB on? I play in 1920x1080

In my opinion the whole X50 series are the "cheap" gaming card solution, X60 series are the best "price to performance" solution while X70+ are the for better performance.
I would go for the 760 (even not ti) if you can afford for it.
750ti will be an upgrade for your 560 but not a significant one.
hrmm..I really can't. I am getting upgrades for 2 computers so what would have been ~$40 would become ~$80 and that seems to be at the cheapest EVGA pricepoint for their 760 (non-ti) brand.
I have been looking for a decent upgrade that stays around the original price that I paid several years back (~$150)...that nice mid range price. I guess the performance is not so much a highlight that it is the fact that (except the FTW edition) there is no 6 pin connector and it demands very little power. I just want that small nudge forward without paying too much. However, if there is a card out there that is around the price point i am looking at that will give me a noticeable increase then I'd like to find it. I have a 750W OCZ Fatal1Ty power supply it can suck on so power is not really a factor here. If I can just get 10-15 more FPS at high/ultra 1920x1080 than I get from my old 560 then I think I would be happy.
Check some 3dmark scores here

You can check the performance in some games as well in the same site. Gtx 660 seems to be better, check some ATI cards as well.
My point is the you already have the gtx 560 that is still a good average gaming card, I dont think that the 750ti is a good choice for you atm.
IMO if you want an upgrade worth spending money on save up another $50 and shop in the $200 range. You may notice a small difference with the 750ti but not a $150 difference. Another $50 bucks you can shop for something that will be an upgrade worth the trouble.

That would be a bigger jump and would be more in line with the performance increase your looking for. IMO
