Mud crabs!

I have played in a few of the beta events and I really did try to give  this game a chance, yes I know it is beta but I will not be going back or purchasing it, I do not even thinkI would play it if completely free, ifeels generic, makes me feel like some generic person in the world.

But when it comes down to it as laughable as it sounds all that is wrong with that game can be summed up in the following, find a picture or look at a mud crab and the lore for it in any elder scrolls wiki then see what they are like in ESO, expand that issue and you can cover most of why so many are upset about this generic daoc reskin.

They did some things really well - 

1. The world is gorgeous

2. Cyrodiil

3. Engine is optimized very well for large scale AvA (much better than DAoC)

4. Music

5. Voiceovers

 

IMO everything else is pretty average, PvE, animations, dungeons, questing, NPC, combat all very mediocre.

But overall a decent game, if you stick to Cyrodiil, IMO its very good.

The question that remains to be answered is - how long will your average gamer last before getting bored with Cyrodiil. 

I love Cyrodiil as well! I wont be getting bored with it anytime soon
