March of The Ebonhart!

With all the constant complaining of the game being P2W or a WoW clone, I decided to give the game a shot and I entered a couple rounds of campaign (PvP), and I ended up having the most exciting time in any MMO i've played (And i've played A LOT), we had an impromptu militia and we ended up stealing an Elder Scroll and sacking a castle.

That's called a zerg! Glad you discovered something new lol.

Now seriously, that kind of gameplay gets old fast. It looks amazing the first few times due to the sheer amount of people gathering up for a common goal but it really does get old fast.

How many times you attacked somebody or required actually any skill to kill someone while inside that "gigantic militia" ? If you are able to land 1 hit on somebody before he's dead it's an achievement.

Unfortunately that's what's wrong with massive pvp. People group up and faceroll everyone in their path requiring little to no skill. Later the skill comes from a tactical point of view instead of individuals using their abilities to dodge, block, whatever. With the amount of CC that a group of people will throw at you it becomes impossible to last more than 2 seconds without heals. If they changed that so face to face combats would last longer giving people more HP, less CC and more evasion abilities, now that would be fun.

Maybe this becomes better at level 50+, who knows.

I'd love to see something like the Rated Battlegrounds in WoW, those were extremely fun for people who want to have decent sized groups and enjoy planning out strategies!

I think batteground would be a good idea aswell. Cyrodiil would be the perfect spot to be while waiting for a battleground queue.

It's a shame that there isn't any pvp allowed outside of Cyrodiil, would make questing much more interesting instead of making us feel like we are playing in a PVE server. Just awful.

Also the ability of requesting a duel with someone. Why on earth isn t that already in the game? We can't even inspect their gear, we can't preview items to see how they look.

Apart from ESO's game engine which seems to handle a LOT, I would say that this game has SWTOR written all over it.

They're going to release a half baked game.
