Aren't they still using a build that is from several weeks ago? I haven't kept up with this beta weekend so I haven't really looked into it. But, if it's not a newer build than the last one than none of the problems will likely be seen fixed.
And, here it comes again and I will say it. "This is Beta".
No, this build is basically the same as the PTS build currently.
Nope PST is more advanced. this build still lacks quite a bit. its a prepared build for this beta session only.
as for bugs, they fixed most if not all phasing bugs asfar i can / have seen tho some quest might have weird delays in phasing if its very populated (also a bug but not game/quest breaking, just anoying)
there are still still some bugged quest (duh its a mmo .. ) like the bell-in-cave on the quest miners lament , its bin bugged in every single beta client so ye.. sloppy one :P
I have not found real game breaking bugs so far, the dialog bug is fixes as well as the crafting and interaction bug where you get no UI . it still happens but you just press esc and its fixed
Trade works perfectly now.
grouping works better as well.
the game aint 100% bug free, but its in a more polished state then 99% of all mmo's launches anyone who expect a 100% bug free mmo from launch is just fooling its self and jumping in a box with sheep shouting blehhh bug blehh hate...

I disagree highly with this statement. And no, the PTS build is not vastly fixed over the one on the stress server - it's basically the same one.
From what people on the PTS have said we are a build or 2 behind but this is pretty much what we'll get.
A lot of the phasing bugs seem to be linked to high populations which aren't an issue on the PTS in comparison to the recent betas.
I really hope they can sort it and have a much more polished launch but the 'it's beta' argument as others have said is quickly losing potency as launch approaches and bugs they have listed as fixed are still broken under stress.
I thought when I went to Cyrodill that the game would open up to me.
I got my white horse for cheap cause I saw rvr and nom, nom, nom on it. Then I found out if you log off while on hourse you can never mount again until you email support to fix it. The cast bar goes, but the animation call needs to be fixed on their end, so you can't ever mount.
Since we are on mounts lets talk about dismounts. I will not talk a fake realizim in a game with magic, BUT I hought the reason to rode the mount was to move faster, this doesn't happen as every little bump in the bitmap you hit, you dismount.. The main RvR server is locked right now and I can't tell you how stupid it is going to be to try and ride the long distances between objectives and contnually havening to remount.
dismounting is gamebreaking.
Now lets talk about the sound bug you haven't heard of.
When your in large scale battles your sound will go out, untill you relog. The lag is bareable, but having your sound cut out for an entire play session unles you relog is...
how do you say it?
not ready for purchase?
if this isn't fixed post launch lots will get their money back, including me.
edit: I forgot the lies of a megaserver....this isn't happening either. You can pick for campaigns with a cap limit like shards for craptastic gw2.
mega server my ass
My main quest now is: To sell my Digital Imperial Pre-Order I am not playing this game after these betas. No chance. A complete mess.
There is two kind of people on these boards (and in the world), those that see a cup as being half filled and those that see a cup as being half empty... Currently nobody can see how much water there actually is inside the cup, we will know in a few months
these two kinds of people will allmost never agree. I am of the possitive type of people, that only see opportunitees about how to refill or fill up the cup. In the end we might get dissapointed, but for the time being we had some great time and fun and enjoyed the stuff that actually was in the cup. And by the time a cup gets empty, we allready have found us a new cup to dream about..
I know what type of people have happier lives, you too?

Originally posted by Silacoid Complaining about bugs during a beta is beyond ridiculous, regardless of how far away launch is. You have no idea what they plan to fix before launch and finding bugs is the main point of beta testing.
Lol you do realise the game is almost on top of us?
The beta excuse simply doesnt wash anymore. This game has been severely stripped back and dumbed down in recent weeks and the fact we are now playing what is basically the launch build that still has so many game breaking bugs and broken systems is in excusable.
Have you seen the number of people cancelling?
The feedback from this weekend is over whelmingly negative. The game has serious issues in both design and execution. The miracle patch wont happen, it never does. This is shaping up to be a poor launch that will damage sub numbers a lot imo.
Deal with it or dont but please dont take us for mugs with the beta excuse.
I've not run into any game-breaking bugs in 3 betas. I did get the NPC dialogue bug a lot of times, but there is a simple workaround and hopefully they'll get it fixed. Aside from that everything I've done has worked as intended. Pretty polished game imo.
I've not tried Cyrodil though.

To the dedicated who plan to play the next beta in a couple of weeks: my sincere thanks.
When the game is finished I will consider giving it a try. Until then I will be enjoying some of the new titles (tough to choose there are so many) as well as a few oldies (no sub so I can).

I don't know which kind lives happier lives, I don't like sitting around wondering if the cup is going to get filled or not.
I worry about whether i like the taste of what's in the cup. If i do, i drink it until it's gone, then I go get another cup - either of the same thing or something else.

I dont care too much about quests bugs or other bugs u ppl found eventually they will be fixed. My problem is the animation in general ,both combat and out of combat. I rly dont like it at all . And i rly wanted to like this game but after this weekend i finaly decided to not preorder and look forward. Now waiting for wildstar to see whats goin on

There is also a third kind, informed kind that know how these things usually end up (because they have crapload of past experience with MMOs), that dont believe in miracle patches, and theres no indication whatsoever that Zenimax is any different than any of past developers.
I experienced a bug in a level 12 quest where you had to free people from big mud balls. Sometimes when you broke the mud balls there would be mobs inside instead of people. This is fine, however the mobs would be invincible and you couldn't run from them, they would continue to chase you.

for me i have noticed some bugs that can be annoying but nothing game breaking.
it seems even some of the most minor bugs can be game breaking to many people on the forums.
i can see how experiencing many of them can be frustrating and deter people from playing.
but i haven't noticed a bug that will prevent you from playing or one that completely breaks a major feature of the game.
ive seen far far worse this close to launch, i gotta laugh at the people comparing it to games like vanguard lol
