The Northern Pact

 

About us:

The Northern Pact is a Norwegian/Swedish Ebonheart Pact guild in Elder Scrolls Online located on the EU PC Megaserver. The guild was started by former Council of the North members. Council of the North was a The Secret World guild under the CotNorth banner, but for Elder Scrolls Online we decided to create our own guild from scratch.

Our past exploits in The Secret World include completing all PvE content up to and including Issue 7, the 5-minute achievement in the New York raid and World First Eidolon of the Outer Dark on the Live server. In addition we had weekly scheduled events involving: Nightmare-difficulty dungeon session for new players, lair hunts and two raid nights. We hope to achieve the same degree of laid back, non-elitist and no-drama social grouping in ESO. With both scheduled and ad-hoc PvP/PvE events.

 

Our goal is to:

1. Be the natural gathering point for Norwegian and Swedish Ebonheart Pact PC players

2. Have all members experience all PvE content

3. Have members experience event-driven coordinated PvP from small to large groups

All these goals in addition to being able to communicate in your own native language in a “casual serious” environment.

 

How we expect to achieve our goals:

1. By creating a guild of friendly and helpful members, composed of all kinds of gamers. Elitism and exclusion will not be allowed. With that said each members is responsible for creating his or her own fun. It is recommended to either actively start or seek groups within the guild.

2. For PvE we will have clearly stated requirements for participating in any event. We will always do our best to make sure there is no large scale content standing in your way to meet those requirements.
   
   We may end up doing progression groups if needed, but they will always be aimed at getting the tactics down and including the rest of the guild as fast as possible. After a progression group has gotten the tactics down, the content will be put on farm. Then a rotation system will be in place to ensure everyone who meet the requirements manages to tackle the content.

3. For PvP we will have events created by officers and members, creating coordinated groups that make an impact in Cyrodiil. On the forums, there will be guides or pointers to viable PvP builds for your chosen role. Experienced PvPers will also be encouraged to share their knowledge and competence with new players. Groups will be balanced with designated roles, ensuring maximum fighting power while avoiding gimped groups.

With our first week in ESO coming to an end we have posted our first status update.

A new week, followed by a new update. We have now more than 100 members. We have unlocked the Guild Store and opened up the Guild Bank for all our members. Read more about what we have done the last week and plan to do in the future.
