The True Origin of "Alright, Alright, Alright"

Not for nothin but the true origin of that phrase comes from Jimmie Walker, "JJ" of "Good Times" fame, who used to say it, and in that exact way, whenever something good happened.  Mr. Walker, I believe, took the saying from a "Mungo Jerry" song of the same name, and it was a popular thing to say back in the 70's.  This is why stoner, Matthew McConnaughey would say it in his film, "Dazed and Confused", and why it would be something that Kevin Hart's dad would say.

And if he had just given me a call before he went trying to say he made the thing up he wouldn't have Jimmy Walker, or Jimmy Walkers writer, on his ass in the next few weeks like I predict is going to happen.

That is, unless all of these people were already paid, which is entirely possible.

Just putting it out there for posterity.
