Old school MMO

How many people would like to see a game an old school type game but with all new content .I did not care for the zerging style of some newer games like GW2 or the new EQN coming out next year. But a game where people play a class they feel like they have a roll with. Still don't think any of these newer games will ever hit what WOW or EQ1 ever did or even DAOC , shame they say that they have a new AI and feed us all a line of poop.

Not me. I don't like old school MMOs. Too much down-time. Too much walking. Not enough convenient instanced content. For me, of course.

Upgrade the graphics.  There are so many forgotten about games that could become important, with a few revamps.  EQ1 would be one.

 

I found an old copy of SEGA Classics for PS2, that included one of my favorite arcade games, Outrun.  It was essentially upgraded to more modern graphics, while retaining the original soundtrack.

 

Seriously, upgrading an old classic game CAN be done!  My amazing example is Outrun, which is an 80's arcade game:

It only pisses me off that this was exclusive to PS2 .. Grrr!
