Click thread --> jumps to last page/post, why?

I can't, for the life of me, figure out why every time I click on a thread in the forums it automatically routs me to the last page of said thread or last post reply. Isn't there a way to reconfigure this? It's getting awfully tiresome having to click back to page 1 just to read the topic every darn time.
