You will regret later on spending your skill points in stamina... Regardless of build, all your skill points should be in HP.

And why is that? No points in stamina and all the weapon skills are almost worthless, stamina defines the increase in DPS on all the non magic weapons skills.
Health just defines your HP, and plus, I use heavy armor, which already gives me alot of HP and HP Recovery

Because HP scales the best. You get more HP than you get dmg from magica or stamina.
You can max 2 stats - one with your skill points and the other with enhancements. Stamina is in disadvantage compared to Magica builds because stamina is used for utility such as cc break, dodge, block, we/. If you go with Magica, you can use your abilities and still keep full your utility resource pool. You also get way more options in terms of usable skills - 3 class skills compared to single weapon line.
Weapon skills are just a filler.
As for armor, there is not much point using heavy armor either as you can hit the armor soft cap with just light armor.
The game is a bit weird/imbalanced/broken when it comes to core mechanics of character development.
You cant bring WOW into this its been going and still people pay since 2004.
Now I have to agree with others this is for ME one of the easiest mmos I have ever played. Just because it may take longer to level does not make it more challenging. i NEVER DIE. Yeah I guess I can TRY to get more then 2 mobs and see what happens.
Its fun if you take your time and enjoy all of it and not race through.

Why is it when I put a point into magicka, my max goes up, but not my spell damage stat? The game says it increases spell damage, but that does not appear to be accurate.
Started playing yesterday, like pretty much everyone else, and after 1 full day of playing im finally level 8 =P
Im a slow leveler, an explorer, and I am badly acostumed to games like WoW, games extremely easy... And thats where the difficulty comes. ANyone else finding this game alot harder than the usual? It really makes me think my battles, makes me die 2 or 3 times before realising what to do.
You guys think its good where it is right now, or should they tune the difficulty of the game? Im divided, some times I loose my mind and patience, but when I finally make it, I feel accomplished.
ROFL youre trolling. seriously... im only 35 right now but I dont think I've EVER been under half health and every target dies in 2-4 hits. and i play pretty recklessly.
I got the game as a gift... its alright and ill play it for the first month. but its seriously one of the easiest MMOs i've ever played. Zenimax wasnt lying when they bragged that you can easily solo to max level. i just didnt think it would be this easy, heh.
Rerolled and everything is going smoothly now, but it sure isnt Super Easy... its fine as it is.
Most of ppl calling it super easy just want to look hardcore or play in groups... thats what I honestly think. But yes, I was playing it wrog and its much better now

You can disagree as much as you want but light armor + class skills is how the game is played because it is efficient.

I feel like it's challenging because I keep running into bugged questlines and have to skip them for higher level content.
Not 5 minutes ago did I receive a rollback when LFG for the final stage of a questline which is bugged to require a group otherwise you can't DPS the boss before it glitches. I tabbed out for 5 seconds, went into another room, came back, was logged out, logged back in, and was at the previous step in the quest.
Putting this game down for awhile until they fix the bugs.
Slow leveling is my thing too OP. I found that by conserving points for skills I really wanted, I'm able to be good in combat and still work a lot on crafting and fleshing out my capabilities. Well...I'm good in combat if my combat pet doesn't die and I remember to double-tap to get away from standing-in-stupid!

Mission in life: Vanquish all MMORPG.com trolls - especially TESO, WOW and GW2 trolls.
Remember they have been online for 2 straight days now, we all had 5 days early access, not 3. Patience

They didn't do that through questing, bosses, raids, dungeons, etc.
They went to area's with no other players and lots of mobs and grouped up with rings of mara and AOE mob grinded the entire way.
So you can not base quest difficulty/bosses off of someone doing that.

yes its difficult cause they made it for 2 or more to do missions together so if you are alone you are screwed.
they should make it that you can do solo missions and level up.
guess we will have to grind or make friends fast,my friends did not buy they said its too expensive.

My problem was the 3rd option, already said so.

I've found msyelf doing quests a few levels above me and from that it seems challenings. If one is doing quests at tehir level then it is pretty easy.

Melee/weapon skills builds do not work.
Is it easy to re-spec if you end up with a crappy build?
Check spell damage directly on the spell tooltip.
