CoV + CoH ??

Quick question,
sorry if it has already been 'beaten to death'...

They say that CoV is a 'standalone', does this means that we'll have to pay per month for both titles (CoH and CoV) , or wil the price of the box + your already active CoH subscription be enough for those that already have one? I understand the 'standalone' part as far as 'playing' is concerned.. but what about the 'paying' part ??

I liked my heroes and was thinking of making a comeback to play with 'bases' and PvP a bit once CoV comes out.. but if this means I have to activate 2 subscriptions... well.. it seems a bit too much for 1 game (cause in fact, it's the same game.. only you get to play on the "other" side.. sounds more like an expansion to me...).

    According to CuppaJo (if you look at the official forums) the pricing has not yet been finalized, but they are trying to provide a means where if you subscribe to CoH, you do not have to pay a second fee to CoV, or a minor increase to your current subscription.

    Again, these details have not yet been finalized, so the final pricing has not been set yet, but that is what CuppaJo said, so I believe they are working to provide a fair solution.

    Wow that was pretty cool. It definately makes me more interested in CoH and CoV. Right now I play L2 and I'm considering moving onto a sci-fi/super hero mmorpg. I'm also thinking about Guildwars.

    I wouldnt mind it, so long as there is a seperate live team updating CoV.
    It would be like having 2 live teams cranking out content for the game......

    mind you, thats only a guess on my part. I dont really know if CoH and CoV will each have their own teams working on them.....I just drool at the possibility.
