My honest advice about the subscription fee upfront.

Like many here, I got the imperial edition for the 5 day head start.  My plans were to play out the 3

0 days and then sub for 3 months.  However, now that Zenimax wants to charge fee upfront even before I can start my already paid 30 days.  My advice to anyone in the same boat as me, is to not sub still this gets fixed. 

 

I don't understand on what grounds does Zenimax thinks it has the balls to pull a fast on me.  This has to be a mistake right?  This is strike two for Zenimax.  The first strike was releasing such a buggie game.   Yes this game has a crap load of bugs.  (Frog quest?) 2. Subscription fee mess up.  3. Lets hope we don't get to 3.

Are you saying they actually tried to charge you or they wanted you to enter CC information for a recurring monthly sub which will be charged after the first free month, like every sub MMO ever?

It is a mess up, Zenimax has already said so on their forums. Still a pretty big mess up though, as they hit some people with overdraft fees with the unexpected withdrawal. Also, I forsee number 3 being them adding Imperials to the cash shop.

I too was a little disappointed that Zenimax is forcing us to enter our CC info and select a sub plan by this weekend (Sunday I believe).

 

Let me play for the 30 days that I am entitled to with my purchase and if the game is good, I'll sub before my game time runs out.

Their support is terrible, they have none, I'm stuck in game due to an NPC not being there and have no way to report a problem for a GM to help me out.

This confuses me, doesn't every sub mmo that offers a free month make you enter your CC info? I always thought the way it works was they charge you after the free month, but if you cancel before your free month is over they don't charge you. Are you guys saying if I was to purchase the game I would be charged for the game and 15 bucks for a sub?
