Love the game and pvp. Here's what i'd love to see down the road.
1. When you become a werewolf or vampire you have the option to be chaotic evil and you are red to everyone. You can't go in towns or you'll get attacked and you are open game to players and you can attack players. The downside you can't go to the pvp area as you are no longer a faction and if you die, the vampire/ww aspect of you is gone. To get it back you have to go back through the original process again.
2. Alliance pvp, turn more into clan based. When clans capture holdings, actually be able to set timers where you can be sieged again and it be more clan based as opposed to faction base. I know this probably can't happen as it would totally mess up what they are trying to do with rvr...would be great though.
3. Okay, before anyone flips...just read the entire thing. No battlegrounds, but once or twice a week have arenas. Arenas would be 1v1, 3v3, 5v5 and 10 v 10. Winners at the end of the month will compete in a grand arena at the end of the month where the top winners battle the top winners of the other two factions. Maybe the gift is just the ability to have the color of their font look different in chat or they glow gold like in L2. The key is that the arenas are for short times and not all day, etc. Otherwise it kills owpvp.
Thoughts? Any other suggestions for the future?

I love the game but do not care for any of your suggestions. Not knocking them, just not my cup o tea so to speak. Glad you are enjoying it
Currently Playing: ESO and FFXIV
Have played: You name it
If you mention rose tinted glasses, you better be referring to Mitch Hedberg.

I would love to see more PVP offerings in ESO. As to what kind exactly, I wouldn't want to suggest at this point. Seems too early to me. I do know that the lack of PVP variety scared me away from purchasing the game. I'm not an Elder Scrolls fan from any of the other games, so that draw didn't pull me in. Nothing against them, just haven't ever played one. I get a lot of grief over that from my gaming pals :P.
Seriously though, more PVP content and and ability to ask for a simple duel. Such a wonderful little thing that can bring many PVPers hours of enjoyment.
Zenimax has a lot of people playing their game right now and if they keep the content flowing and get/keep the game running smoothly, it has a lot of potential. The only thing I know for a fact is many a MMO had potential before it, and it's incredibly easy in the genre's current state to lose your fan base. Here's hoping they do it right!
The vampire or werewolf thing might be interesting if you can turn feral or something and go rampaging around like that... dont like the idea of killing innocent players though maybe if they were flagged or it was a PVP server lol.
Then you just become a normal vampire or werewolf after death.
I bet a lot of people would like to see the Arena from oblivion with PVE questing to advance yourself as the champion and PVP fights solo or group sized
Like all three suggestions.
Many people are very vocal about no "instanced" pvp, because it takes people out of world pvp.
The sad problem with that logic is if people move from world pvp to instanced pvp, it is because they either enjoy it more, or there are more rewards for it. You can control the second part of that.
As a huge fan of owpvp, I don't like seeing instanced pvp 24/7, but just doing it once a week or so just adds competition. Plus, three days over three weeks of arenas to get champions who will then battle it out against the other faction champions would be amazing.

PvP in a MMO needs to be continuous and not divided into segments. So SWTOR got that wrong, DAOC got it right. Not done top level PvP in TESO yet, so until then reserving my judgment.
Any new PvP additions which are separate will lead to conflict between the various types available. Warhammer's scenarios and keep battle zones for example. One form of PvP will come to be seen as "better", the other will lose out. The form seen as "better" will be the one with quicker turn over and more reward.
I think you may have guessed by now I think in depth continuous PvP is the better way. Keeps are set in PvP zones, no separate scenarios, no three way faction football etc.
Of course you can improve the PvP within the zones, as long as it stays there and does not become a combination of dailies or anything else that subtracts from the importance of the main part of the zones, taking and holding keeps.

Yeah. I agree. Though I'm interested to see how Camelot Unchained compares when it comes out. I'm not going to compare the size or scope of the game. I don't think that's fair considering their respective budgets, but I am interested to see who puts out the better PvP system.
