Hello guys. Let me first start by saying I love this game so far. I find it to be immersive and frankly, fun. I, however, really don't like that we can't see our secondary weapon and primary weapon on our avatar when sheathed. It makes no sense to me. I have always hated how weapon placement has worked in elder scrolls game. I feel like 3rd person is such an afterthought, but I figured... modern mmo... NO WAY would they make weapons pop out of nowhere and into my hand. I mean even WOW, the hunter sees his set of weapons.Look, its not that big of a deal, but in fact it can really affect how we play the game.
Imagine in pvp being able to know what combo of weapons your enemy has. It makes for interesting strategy. I don't get it. I really don't and it bothers me frankly. I started a thread on http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/72471/why-doesn-t-secondary-weapon-show-on-avatar?new=1
and I suggest people who agree to voice the opinions. And don't give me that memory or bandwith stuff because that isn't the problem here. I think it is an oversight and it feels like a bit of a shortcut to me. It is a minor detail, but I play in third person all the time and it feels stupid to watch this staff pop out of nowhere and into my hand. I mean at least show it on my back. SOMETHING.
Anyone else really annoyed by this?

The things people gets obsessed about nowadays...
Just calm down man. You can't see your inventory either..Never wondered where all the weapons, armors and stuff goin? In TESO you have a guardian imperial pony angel that keeps the stuff for ya.Chillout.
[mod edit]
P.S : When they zerg your keep, you will be dead before you see who uses which weapon, and that would be the only time for you to need to see it if you ever do.

Anger management bro..See you have to really calm down.No need for aggression.Im just saying you trip on the wrong subject...
And then again you wait for a legit response to an absurd question, who could possibly tell you why don't they implemented or think an aspect like that at the first place? It is less than a minor thing and you make a thread about it, posting with big capitals...Anyway good luck finding the answer friend = )
P.S : You need a serious brainstorming about how the dynamics on TESO PVP works. It is not some hardcore action based side-terrain fluenced game. It's just another carebear MMO that doesn't require minor aspects like that to achieve pvp goals/objects.There are
1-Zergs= You wont be seeing who equips what,
2- Group PvP = Same above, it will be happening faster than you can make so called strategies with your friends,
3- Solo PvP = Which you could be right but it wont be helping it even if you can or cannot see the weapons.I mean what use does it give when you see someone elses weapon sets? Will you be going back to wherever you came, equip the right combos to counter and then gonna come back?

I believe your problem will be more serious and critical if you come with the right material and questions that brings with it.You may indicate some facts about pvp and how they can be improved, then suggest a thing like avatar weapons appearance.Yelling "WHY" won't be helping you since serious players wont be taking you seriously.
If you think you have a good point, then come to table with ideas that backs you and suggestions that will be influencing your primary subject of concern.
They did not add a system or aspect like that because i believe it's just simply not necessary. You can read my post above which i edited and hope that will light your way a bit more.
P.S3 : BTW showing both weapons on Avatar would be cool only with cosmetic means. And that is luxury so i dont think making a thread about it is necessary at all.

You stay sassy!
Agreed I use mods to show this stuff in Skyrim (armed to the teeth) and mods to sheath in Morrowind. Can't stand pulling weapons out of god knows what region.
