That clears up my whole first post argument about the game being gender locked!

Thanks for the post, this is truly fantastic news to my ears. I was under the impression that everything would be gender locked but than it seems only two will have "Gender Locks" with same concepts but different action styles. Guessing Valkyrie is one of the female concepts.

Yay Im so totally excited in a much bigger way now! >3< hehe.

Yes the character creation is nice but the problem with it is that they are likely going to charge Real Life money every single time a person wants to change a tattoo as shown in the video or something about their character Real Life money each time its going to be (pay 2 enjoy) on top of being so called F2P not something I am interested in. If they sell unlock packs allow me to use in game re-customization any time I want then I will play the game but if not I am not going to bother with Black Desert because I have a big feeling it will be like every other Korean Game Pay 2 Enjoy, or Pay 2 Win.

But it is not f2p game. It will be in Korea, maybe in Japan, nobody knows what will be the marketing model in Russia or EU and NA. Because dev doesn't sell the game he sells the franchise for the game. And franchiser chooses the marketing model.

Seriously, name me one Korean f2p game that has a different payment model here in the west?  Might be one, but I don't know of any.  Generally once it is designed as a f2p, there is far too much work to convert it to another payment model.

There is no difference in design among F2P and P2P games for sure. Or we shall believe that making AA, Rift, SWOTR, AION, Neverwinter and so many other games F2P changes their design?

It IS a major undertaking changing a payment model.  How can you be so naive?  Localizing one of these games is no easy task, converting a pay model just adds a lot of additional work.  Then you have to plan for game updates and converting them.  It is pretty obvious no one is going to bother changing the payment model with all the work that it entails on top of localization issues.

i have this game in my radars for more than a year and this video really impressed me !!!

but if you try to search for the game and its depth you be even amazed, i can easily call it a Fantasy EVE mixed with Lineage2 siege warfare and karma system.

the depth they have on the economy is amazing, you can hire workers, the items will be kinda like the spaceships in EVE expendables, there is a whole transport mechanic and trade system similar to EVE local markets.

you can gather from almost everything around, the movement includes climb, the combat is action based with limited 10 skills and there will be also mounted combat

sadly you wont be able to create your castle / house (like Archeage) but rent it, or you can buy a tent if you are poor ...

their graphics are from in house graphic engine, and it seems it offer a very diverse and awesome world.

their quest system is kinda worthy mentioned cause of the relations you can build with NPCs (like EVE) but sadlly the voiceovers are limitied ..

bonus the developers are pretty active and responding on their facebook page something i have never seen with other devs, and they already work on english client ...

    more videos here

yes there are issues but not the deep shit i read from WoW limited minds ...

Now that character creation is awesome and has all the things things i missed on ESO's one. Especially hair customization and eyes are something every new mmo should adapt. The only thing i am missing is a bigger variety of races. Just 3 races feels very limiting.
