Will I be bored in 3 months or will it be something that I can play for the next year or 2 until something better comes along ? Do you think I'll get my money's worth ?
Too much quest grind that only works once, after that its just a chore. Fully leveling a character will take you through the other faction's zones and as such will see everything there is to see.
If Cyrodil won't hold you, which I don't know who or why it would for any length of time or for 15$/mo, then no. There is a possibility Craglorn will be of interest or interesting... but for how long, we'll see. I'd give it a day/week.
You cannot mod this game into being fun after you've played it through once ala Skyrim.

Buy the game it's worth it
I dont think the sub worths it though nor any of the mmos
What mmo ever has PvE content that you want to go back and do over and over again? Once you do the quests they are done except for horrid dailies. At least with this game you have 15 massive zones of content to work through and Cyrodil - plus upcoming Craglorn. Lots of content to keep you busy for a while, but no you won't want to go back and do the same thing over again.

That's a very good point LisaFlexy22. I've never been big on "replayability" myself, I guess I get too attached to my character. I do however go back to lower level zones, take screenies, talk to folks questing, buff and help the lowbies - socialize. etc. As for doing all the content over again, only if there's new stuff added.

Its worth it for a month maybe two. Beyond that nope. it will be like any other themepark MMO. You quit when you run out of content and then sub again when new stuff is added to the game.

I have 3-4 lvl 80 characters in Gw2. I actually like the low level events. I also did every branch of the Personal Story in Gw2 for the human, norn and asura races.
In answer to the OP, TESO's story doesn't branch out. So regardless of what any future fanboy is going to tell you, once you do it, it is done. Only story branching adds replayability. And some dynamic encounters but they have 2-3 states at most so you quickly play all of their "branches" too.
Which is a pitty because Skyrim branches pretty well unlike Mass Effect below the 3rd. Having to be completely good or completely bad in order to unlock dialogues.
Oh well that's the price you have to pay to play a MMO I guess. Also extra 20$ for a race. And also a subscription fee. And also give CC details to play a game you supposedly own

Wait until the game matures a little. There is absolutely no need to be an early adopter, especially not for MMOs which are notoriously bad and buggy in the first 3-6 months.
Wait and see.

Filler? If this holds your attention you'll want to put Wildstar to the side until you're done with ESO. I've ordered Wildstar as well but ESO is easily the better game.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

Hm I don't know I have been in every weekend beta for Wildstar and I have enjoyed it immensely. Also with the lack of raid content right now for ESO and the weird combat animations i'm not if it's the game for me. Maybe I will try it when they have a free 7 day trial or someone lends me a guest pass key.

As for the OP question about ESO and the replayability of it, no1 can really answer this to you. Everyone tastes are not the same. Try it you own and see how it goes in the long term. Else wait a bit to see how the game will be after 2-3 months.
Most MMOs don't offer much as far as replayability unless you're into having multiple characters for different builds. ESO definitely offers that. But as far as replaying already cleared areas, redoing it for new story options, etc... no not really. What MMOs typically do offer is NEW stuff to do, not replaying old stuff. Whether or not that happens is yet to be seen. Theyre going to be releasing Craglorn which looks pretty fun, but whether or not they continue with new content and stuff can't be predicted, will just have to wait and see what happens.

Wow I have so much faith in them. After seeing that I'm hoping launch will be smooth.
Don't get me wrong, but dependant on the time you have to invest to play games, TESO will entertain you for a long or not so long time.
Assuming you play 16 hours a day sleeping for 8 hours a day, you can make it to level 50 in maybe 1 week if you rush the complete content including all quests, skyshards, dungeons and so on. Triple this amount of time and you are VR10. Remaining content will be Crafting, Adventure Zones and PvP.
If you only have got 4 hours a day to play games and try to enjoy the content to its extent by listening to the voice overs you need roundabout a week for a zone (not starter areas!). This includes crafting, tresure map hunt, doing a bit PvP and so on. This pace given and calculating in 5 big zones you will need approximately 5 weeks to reach level 50. This means that you need roundabout 4 months to reach VR10. And we haven't counted in the veteran zones higher difficulty rating.
What I want to say is that there exists enough content. Also, the content does not start at max level. The way to max level is full of entertaining and exciting stories featuring big drama, comedies, horrror and much more. TESO is not one of the standard MMO we have been presented with within the last years. It is deep, it is immersive and a lot of fun ... even when leveling. The way is the goal.
I don't know about replayability but I know that a lot of people aren't getting a lot of sleep this week or last. LOL
My entire guild is like "OMG I HAVE TO SLEEP!!!!"
That WHY these games dont last. Everyone does the same thing. But in a sub game it does save money. But also why subs dont work. because people 'rush' through content or play in huge blocks of time doing everything that is new, and then once they have done it once they dont really want to do it again. Unless they like alts, but in a game with only 4 classes that isnt as likely.
But it sounds like to me exp has been greatly reduced. So that will slow some people down I guess. But the trick is to not make it a 'grind'. Which no game has really mastered. Especially as time goes on and more and more people want instant gratification on everything they do.
Either way they have to fix the other major issues with the game before they start worrying about content or lack or content. but they have a few updates worth of stuff held back i imagine to give themselves a buffer. Once that is used up then things get really interesting. If they use that up, still have bugs and phasing problems and other issues you will see a quick shift in focus.

Both Guild Wars 1 and 2 excel in this. (more 1)
The leveling "zones" like any other themepark are completely avoidable as a design decision by ZeniMax, but they went the easier route. If it was open ended like the SP games, hell even something akin to EQ1 zones, it'd be a lot better. GW2 did a really good job at it too (but I also hate GW2 with a passion and much prefer the original l so that it for what it's worth).

I didn't purchase ESO after playing beta and watching many, many hours of Twitch streaming because I came to the conclusion that it will not, particularly for PVPers. Just not enough variety in content there as I've stated elsewhere. PVE is more debatable in my mind and of course, I totally accept that I could be wrong all around. When deciding where to put my $ though, these are the types of predictions I have to attempt to make. I've never played an Elder Scrolls game before either, so I didn't have that 'fan-feeling' viewing the game either. Have nothing against them, just never got around to it. For those enjoying ESO and intending to stick around, I actually hope I am wrong. I certainly don't wish ill on the game.

If you like PvP = A big YES (at least for me)
PvE = no (again my opinion) - about to hit 50 here, and I see no point in ever going back to any of the lower level content I've completed - there's ZERO replayability of completed areas for me.
+1.
The PvP experience will probably vary by campaign (people select a campaign) as that will depend on the people/guilds in that campaign (changing campaigns is possible albeit with limitations). However this is were the replayability will lie (not for everyone of course.)
PvE - you can basically do everything on a single character (including the other factions quests) so if you replay a quest it will be because you want to.

Like every MMO ever that doesnt make you grind mobs for 8 months, it depends on how much you play, how many other things you do (like crafting, PvP...) and if you like playing alts or not. If youre the tunnel vision type of player youll be capped within a week and probably bored by the end of the month. If you like doing other things and enjoy the ride it can take a few months before you even cap so ......
Basically, dont expect any more than whats been available in the past. From what I hear, end game is non-existent.

Too soon to call that now, you have to wait 3 months or so to get any certain answers. And that is just for how others will feel, for you it is impossible to say.
Guessing how long anybody will play a MMO when the game just launched is harder then figuring out any Da Vinci code.
