What I can say so far.

I am having fun currently.  I am not a power gamer, I am only level 7.  I am questioning how long the fun will last.  I am guessing I will sub for maybe 2 months with what the game currently has to offer.

I honestly can say I would rather of had a coop version of skyrim.  I think it would have been more fun.  I am a pvper, and ESO pvp from what I have read, and I wont make a final decision until I get there, but it looks like something I wont be into.  I prefer something like darkfall online with full loot and open pvp.

I have a lot of friends that feel very much the same about wanting a co-op Skyrim.  ESO could have been closer with a free-aim, similar combat system at least, but alas, that's not the case.

What's the point in giving game impressions if you just played 7 levels? Same with official reviews, they play 30 hours through the 1st zone and they make a review from it.

Play the game thoroughly, experience it, the good and the bad, the game has plenty of both.

Playing 7 levels is the tutorial area of the game, you don't even got any proper skills to use. Don't even have access to pvp yet.

My biggest complaint about TESO is that it forces me to experience a MMO like I was playing in a PVE server. I like questing but it forces so many quests down your throat with no chance of finding any pvp outside Cyrodiil through the entire 60 levels. MMO's are about choice, freedom to the player, ESO lacks that.

Doing quests outside Cyrodiil and doing them inside Cyrodiil its like a whole new game. You need to watch your every step, be always on alert and ready to face someone. Whether you kill or you die you got to admit that kind of tension is fun.

That kind of tension is robbed from you since you ll need to do the PVE quests for skill points, outside cyrodiil. The game is designed in such a way that not even with a future mega-patch you ll ever see any kind of pvp outside Cyrodiil, at least in the 1-50 zones.

I could forgive ALL the bugs, ALL the clunkiness of the combat system and input lag, ALL the lack of endgame content if they would simply give me the choice to level up like I would in a PVP server.

Oh please, tell me more about all the varied gameplay mechanics in the 2nd zone compared to the 1st zone. The game is fun for me, I like how much freedom you have building your character. As for the content itself, here is what you do in the first zone. Get quest, talk to people, pick things up, go to cave slay mobs. Guess what you do in the 2nd zone!!! Get quest, talk to people, pick things up, go to cave slay mobs. And on top of that textures, models and tilesets are constantly re-used.

This is exactly why I predict a 2 month sub for me.  I like the quests, I think they are fun, which is saying alot because I normally hate questing.  But once that is gone, what else is there?  The could do a lot more with the pvp zone, that would make it interesting.  But I doubt it would be enough.  Theme park games just dont have enough to offer.
