TSW Game Director and The Black Watchmen

We wake up this morning with a great suprised, a great post  from Joel, the TSW game director. 

 

"Hi everyone,

As you’ve likely noticed, there has been a lot of excitement around the new ARG that released in early March and I’ve been getting a lot of inquiries about what it all means and how it is connected to The Secret World.

I am pleased to announce that Funcom will be collaborating with Montreal based Human Equation on an awesome new ARG project. We’ve partnered to create the first Persistent Alternate Reality Game (PARG) and we’re hoping that the strong core community of The Secret World will be the springboard to its success! Obviously, I am immensely proud of The Secret World community and their ability to pull (and pool) together their skills to solve incredibly complex ARGs. The PARG is designed to take this concept above and beyond; everybody will need to pull together to be able to tackle and solve all the missions and challenges that this Persistent ARG will throw at you.

The Secret World has utilized ARGs in the past as both a marketing and engagement tool; but using all of the knowledge learned from these past projects Human Equation is aiming to push the PARG to a new level entirely.

As thanks to all players who have been following us since the beginning of The Secret World, Human Equation will offer all TSW players a major rebate on the one year normal subscription to the ARG. For our players who have shown the faith and dedication to become Grand Masters, Human Equation will give them a full membership for free for the first year. Check your mail!
