TSW - Grand master pledge

Hi!


I signed up just now with the key given by FunCom. But... after enterering a few details. The web server timed out. And I received no more info/codes  (or emails).

Whats's next? What did I miss? I have access to this forum, and the web page says I'm a pledger.

How do I unlock the pre-launch missions?

    I'm not so sure you get pre-launch missions right now, unless you mean division-66.com. I am a Grandmaster as well, initial $20 beta pledge and my grand master code attached to my account, and I didn't have any issue like you did, but also there are no missions right now. It's probably being lovingly (and diabolically) crafted as I write this. I'm sure we'll be told when it is ready.

    Hello,

    The Pre-ARG missions have already been completed, and are found on division-66.com. Missions 1-4 are still playable and quite solvable (though sometimes you might not get all the information alone.) Some of us are still hanging around the IRC if you want help/need easy questions answered.

    The pre-launch ones show as "locked" until you solve them, as you solve them ,it pops up with "Unlocked" instead

    I also have a question about GM pledge. What level of normal sub is it equal to (Red, Orange or something else)? And does it give any things not explicitly stated in a pledge description, like in-game clothes?

    I dont know...I have been trying as well and cant figure out how to unlock them.

    You don't put the codes in on your Funcom account page, you need to hit the "Join Now" button on the email you got and put it in on the page it sends you to.

     

    (I know because I did the same thing).

     

    To unlock the prelaunch ARG's you have to start at #1 and work your way through, they should unlock in order. (I think).

    I haven't had the OP's issue but a separate one. It has been a challenge actually to take part in the last ARG because the briefing videos do not seem to work. I'm not sure if it is because of a security setting I have buried some where or what. I do know for certain that no browser works. Unfortunately killing my firewall didn't seem to work either.

    Any suggestions or tips you folks might know?

    So, couple things:

    1> pre-missions:  those are the ones located at division-66.com as a GM there will be other ones after that are exclusive to division 33

    2> video issues: it's most likely a browser issue.  I know there were some various issues, like, my count-down timer didn't work in firefox or IE, but it worked fine in chrome, while others worked fine in FF and IE, but not in chrome, so it's something client side that is interfering.  Try a different browser. :)

    3> the in development is because it isn't slated to launch until septemberish? But, all subscriptions count as starting on the launch date, so not yet (granted there might be things happening before then....).

    1- Sub will start when game is out of beta

    2- Yes we will test some of you, randomly, with some puzzle.

    3- We are Chrome friendly. Not that we won't support IE, but Firefox and Safari are safer bet then IE.

    4- If you have ad blocker, javascript blocker or surfing the web with Mosaic 0.5, you won't be able t play.

    5- Some of the video briefing with Captain William are random. Normal you don't always see them. The station number at the beginning of each mission are mandatory. If you don't see them, and you are not in a cabin up in the wood with windows ME, contact support@division-66.com .

    Hey, I just signed up with my GM activation code. 

     

    I'm just curious what level of pledge this gives me. I thought the mobile app element seemed quite cool, is there a way to upgrade your level to include elements like that?

    After entering the code from my email, it took me a great deal of messing around, including the recovery of an MMORPG.com account that had been abandoned nearly 3 years ago, to get in here at all.

    I'm guessing the sign-up system checks to see if you have an account at this site under the same email, and if you do associates your pledge to that.  "Wombat123" -- hmm, not really one of my more imaginative handles.

    yep, it does go off, the email.  Though, it you want to use a different email/agent name you could transfer it over, send a mail to support@division-66.com for details on how you'd do that.
