It has bugs, its not Perfect and if you are really unlycky you will get affected by it. Most People wont.

It has less bugs than any MMO ive started from release, and ive played them all. People just have short memories.

So all rants aside, im an avid PvP'er that has done just about 3-4 days played time IG without much pvp yet. (and i have a wife, 2 kids and a job)

Im lvl 38, have 2 craftskills increasing each day. So yes im hooked.

All the kids crying about bugs etc are just kids. I dont even care if they are hardcore, been there done it. Most have beta burnout or are just mad :)

Ive even seen People quit because they didnt even bother to use half a brain to set up a build with skills that actually have som synergy, in other words that will keep you alive most of the time. Well good riddance..

If you like MMO's its worth the price just for trying it out IMO.

Loving the game so far. Started off very slow and boring, but has really picked up these past few hours.

Does leveling remain so slow? Mobs seem to give almost no XP while questing gives obscene amounts.

I have had 0 issues so far, and I've been playing for hours.

Loading times between transitions could be better though. Anything over 40 seconds from my SSD seems wrong. Windows takes less time to boot lol. This game has longer loading times than TOR, and the worst part is it doesn't always happen. Sometimes the load is fast, sometimes its LOOOOONG.

Once again thanks to everyone that said this game is fairly bug free. I would not have purchased it otherwise.

Edit: Is my bank space shared? I made a crafting alt and it looks like I only have 60 total between all 8 characters? I mean it makes transfering items easy, but 60 spaces just seems like an fning TERRIBLEBADHORRIDSAD idea. Is there a tab I have to unlock that gives more storage to individual characters? I seriously already almost have a full bank.

Bank space is shared! Glad you are enjoying it. I am as well. Some bugs like falling through the stairs from time to time, but generally very well done and fun game. :)

**edit*** you can buy more bag space and more bank space as well. Just in case you didn't know that yet!

  • ohioastroohioastro Member UncommonPosts: 534
Each character has 60 slots, and there is a shared bank.  There is no such thing as an individual bank, which I agree is a nuisance.  The easiest workaround is to create some alts (you can skip the tutorial; they start close to the bank) and you can park them at the bank to act as, well, banks.  I use 4 of these and 3 characters that I actually play.  The bank space is shared, so you can drop things there and then pull them for other characters.  It works best if you keep the bank pretty clear and dump things from your pack to the bank before you leave on a run.

Best graphics, best sound, not bad fighting system - but there is no fun, Im so sorry, but im totally bored (I play since early acces and beta). spoken dialogues idea - biggest mistake ever. In my opinion, of course.

Best graphics and sound? You obviously never played Guild Wars 2 or The Secret World. Both those games are a lot sexier visually AND audio wise than Elder Scrolls Online, however TESO has epic gameplay, and i can see myself being hooked here for weeks.

Will I resubscirbe? Probably not, if I beat the game anyway. But just like The Secret World, I will renew my subscription with every new piece of content.

Game is fun for a few weeks, then it gets boring, really really boring, really really fast.

Everyone i know has left already, as have I. Will be interresting to see how their retained subs figures pan out, im guessing not so well.

PvE is awful, PvP is pointless zerg and lag fest and the bugs are simply unbelievable, game breaking at times. A friend of mine had a bugged quest line story and...thats it, game over, can't progress, the CSR's couldn't care less.

For the first time in many years i don't feel i have gotten my moneys worth from an mmorpg.....which is one of the main reasons i wont resub.

It's just so bland, the dungeons are dull, the mechanics are all rehased from other games and, bottom line, if i want to play Elder Scrolls, Skyrim beats ESO hands down.

Expresso gave me a Hearthstone beta key.....I'm so happy :)

I'm not buying another box/retail full priced game without playing it first via a reasonable length trial. (I.e 3-5days)

If I can't con my girlfriend into playing it with me I've little interest in World of ElderGuildwarScrolls2 anyway.

    Yikes, GW2's soundtrack is forgettable.

I like WoW's, and SWTOR's, to either mentioned games.

I can remember WoW themes and SWTOR themes ... but GW2's? nope. no themes remembered (except the Halloween music, that was good - promote that person responsible, fire the rest).

You know I dont understand how people expect others to believe them when they call others names.

Well if you dont like or disagree your a hater. To many bugs or bots your a kid and on and on.

Lol its not the best mmo to date and there are bugs all over the place. Some get them some dont. One of mine (bug) was I lost all my gold and slots from the bank yet part of this bug was they gave me all the Colectors Edition stuff 4 emails in game. So lol.. yeah I reported it.. not a good bug. All I got was "we know of this and hope to have it fixed as of next patch" that was 2 days ago.

Bots? wow really depends where you go. One of the 3rd maps there was 10 bots running around. If you see toons that just pop out of no where over a node then vanish lol there ya go. Again is only in some spots and not everywhere. I seen the same thing in the new FFIX mmo.

I said this many times.. people like this game because its easy. I have never in my life got so many greens and blues (just starting to get blues) EVERY DAY! It should not be like this. Before you get close to 40 you start to get purples. Nice but man you dont have to work at anything. We were just talking on the EU server. I started at (came on) level 7 had 500g. I quit at lvl 9 with 5000 gold. All I did was quest and mine where I saw it. 100 ore sell for 400g so.. WAY to easy.

I have no idea who the people are that post here but just ASK in game and lol you get such a different story. People going on and on about bots and this or that quest..its it bugged.

It is by far one of the most unfriendly games I have ever played. You see question after questing being asked and no answer yet there are tons of people running around. You read "anyone?" So I tried.. asked about fishing pole. Only one answered. And my gosh do they sprint to everything. Try it.. just run alone side someone ..see that node just run to it.. that house...those boxes.. yeah its like no one knows they all respawn.

In the end yes I am glad I bought it (BOX). When you have friends to play it its fun. Alone.. not sure. Unless you find a guild its awful as in no one talks to you. And yes..you really feel like your playing Morrowind or skyrim with real people added in.

If you dont agree with my post.. great. I have no reason to make anything up. If you are wondering if you should buy.. looks like you have to if you want to test it. Hey its EASY.  One thing I never ever read about on US or EU is PVP.. nothing. No one asks..

The only unforgettable music in GW2 was the music that already was in the first opus ( = orgasm)

WoW soudntrack was the shit too, just the Stormwind's song makes me wet my pants

Can't believe they did nothing about the dupe that was not only reported in beta, but also mentioned in an amazon review that was linked to on the official ZeniMax forums. Wow. I lost all trust in the dev now. Going to chalk up my money as a loss and move on.

It links to a lot of quest bugs that halt progress, and uses complaints from Reddit and the official forums to support arguments, making them seem pretty well informed.

Now I have been a huge Oblivion and Skyrim fan and want to continue my adventure in ESO. Are there really as many issues as Mmogfails says? Are there bugs that wipe inventories, remove bank slots, halt progression, and get you stuck; or is it more along the lines of launch problems that most MMO's have?

    This is pathetic.

All the good things I said about this game are now irrelevant. Ignore my praise. Had I known about this, I would have never bought this joke of a game.

So a game that hanst been out for a month. All down the tubes because of a dupe bug? It is a BIG bug indeed. One I hope they find a fix for ASAP).

Game, for me, has a lot to offer. So Im sticking with it till it actually fails. :)

GW2 still has bots, so does WoW.

Not sure what you're getting at.

    Is this your first MMO?

Anyone remember the level one bots that would run to Orgriamar, kill themselves, and float in the air spelling out a gold selling URL?  This was happening during WotLK, so it's not because WoW was new then.

The fact that they knew about this bug and did nothing but try to hide it literally killed all my trust in them.

An item dupe is not a bot. ESO has plenty of bots as well.

I was just looking at the game through rose colored goggles. They are now off.

    Whatever.

Check my post history. I have done nothing but praise the game.

And I didn't find anything, I just found out about this bug by going through the ESO forums.

I thought I was a fanboy, but you sir, take it to an entirely new level. You are defending a company that literally tried to cover up their own stupidity while avoiding the problem at hand.
