Hi i am looking for a MMO game which is something similar to Puzzle Pirates.
What i quite like about PP is the deeply player-driven economy.
Where there is multiple factions/guilds/clans/regiments which are vital in controlling territories such as islands.
I also like the aspect of player-owned properties where other players can inspect and admire such as owning deeds to ships, shops and as i said, territories. Hence, politics would also be a nice factor in this game.
I would also like it when it takes multiple efforts by numerous people under a guild/clan/regiment/crew to work together in establishing reputation or fighting for properties within the game.
I dont like how some games basically see an individual player's level or rank, but something more cooperative towards a common goal.
I know i sound damnnnnnnnnnn spoilt and whatnot but i'd realli like to a find a game like this.
Thank you

Hi, ive been looking around the forums and googling.
Apparently, EVE online appears many times. The only problem about that game for me is the subscription
Or is there something i do not know?
Landmark, EVE or Wurm. Landmark is pretty much a dice roll at this point regarding the direction they will take it in, but there's a good chance a lot of what you describe will be in it in the future. I haven't really played EVE beyond the 2 hour mark so can't comment on that very much.
Wurm is the one I am most experienced in, so I'll provide some details on that. The economy is completely player-driven. The only things that the game itself generates are about 6 starter tools. Everything else is made by the players. Players can also place down NPC merchants who sell their goods for them. The entire world (picture GTA sized islands, but in a medieval world) can be freely terraformed, you can place a land ownership deed down anywhere you want as long as it doesn't overlap with other players' deeds, and you can build houses in any shape you want them, on and off deed. You can build ships, ships have ownership, a cargo hold, and most importantly, direct sailing with WASD that is affected by the weather.
The game has around 10 of such servers. 6 of them are PvE, where you only have to deal with monsters in the world (bears, spiders, trolls etc etc), 3 of them are 'epic' which is basically PvP maps with alliances and kingdoms and increased xp gain. 1 map is chaos, which to my knowledge is more or less the same as epic, with 2 differences. Those differences being - chaos is connected to the 6 PvE servers, so you can take your ship and sail to chaos from PvE servers, secondly, it has no increased xp gain, thirdly, you keep all your skills from PvE servers if you go to chaos. 'Epic' servers can be accessed from freedom servers through an epic portal, but doing so resets all your skills to 1, or you can directly start on an epic server by choosing one at the tutorial island.
Would you mind b2p or you only want f2p? Perpetuum Online went b2p recently. It's similar to EVE, just robots on land instead of ships in space.
