combining items

ive got 5 stacks of different amounts of magica potions and i cant seem to figure out how to combine them. The only thing i see is split. Four stacks are 2 and the other is 12?

The potions might be of different level and sometimes, if crafted, have different stats..so that might be a reason why they don't stack.

Just look at description...they might have same name but different levels.

Do they have the same identical effect and identical names?  If so, you should be able to drag one on top of the other.  If not, even if they share an identical name, then they can't be combined into one stack.  There are different levels of the same potions with identical names that don't have identical effects- For example:  I gathered some Potions of Magicka from creatures I killed, but when I crafted my own with an identical name, mine had an improved effect even though they were still white con potions.
