Stonefire Machinations Quest

Wondering if anyone has done this quest yet.  It's level 38, and need some help with it.  I must be doing something wrong, or missing something.  There are 2 super elites in a solo instance.  I've looked all over the internet, and cannot find any mention of this quest.  Something so hard should be mentioned somewhere I thought, but nope, nothing.  I tried straight up fighting them, I got the mage down to about 90% health before I died roflmao.

 

Reaper's March has been a pain for me.  The Vile Manse is probably one of the hardest dungeons I've ever been in, and it's not even a real dungeon.  Now I'm upto this quest, and it seems like I can't get any help inside, it's solo instanced.  There has to be a trick, a button, something I'm missing.

Nope, that's what surprised me.  I can't find any information anywhere on this quest.  I know it's kind of out of the way, maybe I'm the first to find the quest line XD

I'm having the same problem. I'm level 37 and the quest is apparently for levels 38 so it should be fine, but when I try to kill one of them they just nuke me and I die within the first 20 seconds. I can't find anything else your meant to do (button, item etc.) and I've tried a number of tactics trying to defeat them. Please help .

Hi! Funny thing, I had the exact same problem. Did the quest, saw two elites, tried, died, searched all over the internet and found nothing. Starting the second fight with almost empty stamina and magicka was killer, especially since the boss summons another two more adds so you have to take down 5 (!) elites solo without a chance to catch your breath.

Eventually I tried experimenting with the positioning of the mobs and that was really the key. CC the melee mob and burn down the ranged mob, then pull the melee out and kill it far from the boss' spawn so you have time to get your energy back up before engaging the boss.

This is pretty much a cock-block quest.

Level 43 Templar, in Heavy, with a resto-staff. I don't run out of mana...I just run out of health.

Two elites, no prob. I kill them back near the door. The Mane spawns and I get him to 50% health; no prob......SOB spawns two elites and I die.

It's funny, because I'm so F-ing pissed off right now that I don't even care to go level up in Cyrodiil.

...Good job Devs, you just made me not want to play your game.
