Your second part...you act like you are playing. Yet the first question should be answered if you have been playing. Which is it?
You could answer the answer the questions...
I am playing but so far haven't found a large main city, hence me asking the question.
Anyone actually want to be helpful?

I am almost lvl 30 and i haven't come across a major city per say (not sure if Elden Roots should be called major city). In terms of over all scale you have small towns / outposts etc. Major city would be something like GW2 has so if you are looking for something at that scale then nope.
Yes LFG only shows dungeons which are of your level regardless of what zone you are in.
Hope that helped.
Yes thanks very much
I can never seem to find anyone was hoping there was a major city with lots of people in it, shame you can't search for any dungeon from any zone, odd design choice.

To answer the answer the questions: -
Yes, The Three Dials is a level 40+ city that is run by Orcs. It is slap bang in the centre of the map and is neutral.
Dungeon finder is broke.
I'm playing Pact and although I'm still only in Stonefalls there are plenty of people running around in Davon's Watch. Ebonheart is probably the capital of Stonefalls (and the alliance) but it isn't as busy as Davon's watch, probably because it doesn't have all the facilities.
You were hoping there was a major city with lots of people in it? Well Davon's watch is as busy as I've ever seen a hub in any game, the bank is full of people, as are the crafting stations. I'm also playing a Dominion character and found Mistral just as busy.
When you say you can never seem to find anyone I'm assuming you mean on the dungeon finder? There are people running about all over the place in the areas I'm playing in.
