Star Citizen vs Star Conflict - something to be busy with until DFM is out

While I was waiting like everybody else for DFM i seen on steam a 50% discount on DLC for Star-Conflict.

This made curious and as game was free I decided to give it a try.

To  my surprise the game is now focused on dog-fighting (like world of tanks) while open universe (like eve ?) is scheduled soon.

As it have linux support (working for me) i decided to vote with my wallet and bought all their steam dlc.

    Star Conflict is a solid time waster. Unless they've changed it though, the pacing becomes absolutely terrible after the second tier of ships. All of the ships at that point were damage sponges and it took forever to kill someone.

    I wonder if it's still a case of 'He who has the most Frigates, wins.'.

    I LOVE Star Conflict!

     

    At one point I got so addicted I had to deinstall to get any work done, but I'll jump back in a couple of weeks.

    Definitely great while waiting for Arena Commander / DFM

    man the Christmas and New Years decoration was amazing, fond memories.. 

    I had that jingle bells tune in my head all night after listening to it for hours in the lobby

    hope it will return this year :-))
