Zenimax totally got me, i thought they were being honest this time from the patch note, but NOPE!

    Work if you abandon quest go to cormount and ride towards town the quest npc will pop up there aswell and when you use portal Maeroth will be there..

    Yeah, the quest does not seem to start correctly if picked up from Elden Root. Maybe they should just not have the portal NPC appear there and instead only in Cormount until they can get it fixed correctly.

    That's interesting, because i did the exact thing, i abandon, then i even relog, but i took the one that appears outside of Elden Root, it's just funny how they can fix Maeroth to appear when you took the quest outside of Elden Root, but NOT the Elden Root itself

    So What Now?
