I thought his Dark Souls review was fairly positive.  I mean, he definitely talked about how much the game makes you suffer, but that's actually what he (and everyone else) likes about the game.

Are you team Azeroth, team Tyria, or team Jacob?

I've seen a few of his videos and just love his delivery :) There is a reason he calls himself "Zero Punctuation" (no breathing allowed). I have yet to see him give a good review, though, so I don't expect that.

Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.

Zero Punctuation makes fun of all games. That is his appeal. Don't get too offended by his words. He often brnigs up real points/issues but makes a bigger deal out of them. Either way, it's a comedy skit, though real annoyances, bugs, etc. are mentioned hehe.

I haven't heard any news about work on an upcoming single player Elder Scrolls title?   I would love to see another one but I'm not certain that will happen.  Look at WoW.  Most people don't realize that was a single player game before it was an MMO.  There has always been speculation they might return to making Warcraft IV but so far nothing official. I realize this is Zenimax and not Bethesda, so they are two different branches, but no one knows for sure if there will be another single player Elder Scrolls game in the future.

Are you referring to the RTS series? Cause there was no single player type WoW game before WoW.

I really love listening to his reviews, which are entertaining whether I agree with them or not.  One of my favorites is his take on Dragon Age 2.

Oww that would be sad really. Imagine that people actually trust his opinion and that it actually makes people buy or not buy a game. I mean I do hope we do not have gamers like that.....

The games he did make positive reviews of (Psychonauts, Dark Souls, Painkiller, etc.) really are good. Not that using him as some trustworthy source of objective info is a good idea, but it's a fact worth noting.

Yeah but to be fair, those games are awesome!!!

Love the guy though. All of his videos are hilarious. I particularly like the ones where he talks about EA...

tldw: The game should have been more like the games in a completely different genre with which it shares its name.

Actually TLDR would be 'not every successful single player game needs to be turned into an MMO'.

Check out his old SWTOR review it's probably his most favorable mmorpg reviews oddly enough.

Angy joes was about the game and it's content and had video to back it up. This "review" feel like he played it for a hour or two and decided it was not Elder scroll enough.

i think that's a general problem with the reviews...it's not that they judge it as an mmo but first and foremost compare it with the single player games and an mmo just can't be like a single player game from you being the one and only hero ^^

tho they did quite good with their phasing for an mmo tho.
