There are some major irritators, that need attention, fast and good
- botting
-bosscamping in instances
- goldseller spam
- goldselllers
and then there is some anoying but tollerable stuff
- bugs ( tough i rarely encounter them myself)
- story instances, if the story indicates you will be alone down there, you should be alone
- guildsize, is way to small for trading guilds.
- much of the challenge from solo pve gets killed by groups of players killing everything before you even get a shot at it...
And then there are some gameplay issues that could be better..
- only 5 skills/ build... 8 would be much better as that would allow more diversity withouth switching
- mentoring should be added, so lower level content is still enjoyable
- more dynamic content should be added to the open world..
- some spell animations are just not cool, for excample the templar lightning/spear stuff

Have you ever tried to run with real, full-sized weapons drawn?

Does foam core weapons count?

If there are weights attached to your foam weapons that make up for the real weight of medieval equipment?
1 morning star alone weighs roundabout 3 kg (6,6 lbs)
A sword depending on type weighs 1-6 kg (2,2 - 13,23 lbs)
A chainmail weighs roundabout 10-15 kg (22,05 - 33,07 lbs)
Plate armor weighs 20-30 kg (44,09 - 66,14 lbs)
Count in additional stuff like gauntlets, helmets and so on and you easily reach 50-60 kg (110 - 132 lbs).
I bet you wouldn't hop around that easy with such equipment. ;-)
Games do not depict real life. Comparing them to real life as excuse for bad animations is therefore pointless. The animation is still bad.

What about running in full plate armour? Why does the game not make that look realistic?
Well this is a good post. Getting rid of bots, spammers, and goldsellers? I really hadn't thought about that. Tremendous idea.
I was also really amazed at the concept of fixing bugs in the game. This whole time I've been saying "I can't wait for five expansions to come out so that no one needs to go through these areas again, and we can avoid all the bugged quests!". But making it so the quests actually work, and /stuck or /reloadui don't have to be used frequently? Man, that's just genius. This is why I don't work for a gaming company I guess.
I'm also in favor of adding more skill slots. Combat in this game is so difficult, and being able to load more skills for each weapon set would really speed things up. That way I wouldn't have to sit around waiting for my ghostly figure to come back into focus and waste all that play time doing nothing! Plus, soul gems are extremely uncommon. I mean, death has far too harsh of a penalty. Either I sit there waiting for like an hour to be able to attack again or I have to run all the way from the wayshrine, which there should really be more of in the first place.
Some really good ideas in the OP here guys. This is how you make a constructive post! Good job.

my preference would be that the bugs are addressed first. I heard recently that they are addressing the boss issue by making it take a few minutes before you can loot it again.
All of your ideas sounds reasonable and hopefully its done.
I also don't think 8 is enough. people should be able to have 10 skills, not 5 or 8. similiar to the elder scrolls: oblivion, some of the skills should be considered secondary skills where they don't train as fast as your primary ones do.

The game is dead not, this game is good we make it and Romania Tv give it 5 goat heads, this is good rating for game.
This ongoing promotion of a reduced on screen skill bar somehow improving play by making you decide what skills to use is a complete fallacy.
Players slot what works for them and stick with those level after level.
Say it for what it is - a reduction in gameplay to accommodate a toy input device.
Just because a keyboard allowed a full skill slot range doesn't mean we hit all the keys at once. There are choices - more of them - open to you, and all your opponents.
All this talk of co-ordinating these reduced skills in a group - as though it was something new and innovative. It isn't, it hasn't been for years for organised groups/raids.
Weapon swapping gives you 10 + 2 skills! If I've got 12 skills put them all on the screen then. I'll happily run my staff with 12 skill slots for it. Ah but no, the second set has to have a second weapon, even if this is identical to the first - what nonsense is this?
Take a look at how Tera does it - another soft target "action" mmo. Full ui, ability to move the recticle to suit you.
As for the 'Q' quickslot idea - another miserable sacrifice to the super mario controller.
An AH
Guild store is not the way to go
What? You're telling me people don't actually swim perfectly fine with full plated armor on?
Besides bugs, bots, and the usual suspects, i'd like them to fix their lack of a proper AH. Asking people to use out-of-game player sites is not cool.
Unfortunatly, the lack of a real server structure makes ESO an automatic "cross-server" mmo. Since people have been saying GH have terrible interfaces, i'd ike to see a good replacement.
Maybe a market instance, with item dedicated boards for weapons, armor, consumables, crafting mats, etc. And maybe link each board to the players home campaign to avoid merging everyone. The crafting is one of the things i loved from beta, but without a proper economic go to place for trading, it loses it's lister.
