Is this the console release date?

Microsoft is advertising 17 June 2014 for the XBone release for ESO. Hopefully this is accurate and means we may get an official announcement by ZOS for both release and beta.

    I've only seen June 30th advertised, but I figured even that wasn't set in stone.  17th wouldn't surprise me.

     

    Just remember that the xbox version probably won't look as good as Ps4, and will require an xbox live gold membership on top of the teso sub.

    I will be playing on PS4. I expect they will release on both consoles at the same time since they have not said anything about an exclusivity for one console release.

    Just need more news from ZOS about release!

    I have my money on them cancelling the port to console.

    Any graphical, audio, or gameplay restrictions not seen in other mmos but found in FFXIV can be blamed on one thing.

    I'm happy to take your money but that isn't really much of a bet given that ZOS has repeatedly said that they will be releasing on consoles, even as recently as this month.

    I agree. Since the pc version is already a port of console one.. Pc players are just long term beta testers for the console version and most of them are more then happy to pay for this opportunity.

    Stages of a new mmo: 1) It's just beta. It still has plenty of time before release. 2) It just launched. Give it time. WoW wasn't built in a day. 3) We don't need you anyway. 4) F2P announced. 5)Huge influx of players. 6) Look how much has changed. 7) Cash shop is the only thing developed lately. 8) It has been a long journey and we thank everyone who was part of it.     Date has been changed to June 2014. Looks like ZOS has had a chat with Microsoft.
