I am really excited for this feature if it is fully fleshed out.
Example of possibility:
A village at the edge the world could possibly have all trade blocked by bandits (NPC and/or player) causing all prices for items to sky rocket. While doing this luring in more traders to attempt to get supplies across for the massive profits to be had even forcing them to hire mercs to protect their cargo, creating a great sandbox situation.
But only if Pearl Abyss really go all the way with making things like this possible or maybe more.
