Looting macro?

in World of Warcraft

Hey,

I looked around but don't seem to find the right commands. Is there anyway that you can design a "looting macro" so that when you are done killing something, it transfer automatically what the creature had to your bags?

I would find that very useful because it would allow me to use keyboard only when doing a dungeon or traveling.

    lol, if you find or design anything like this...nvr go on an instance run...you'll be flamed on the realm forums alot.

    Point well taken.

    Although I don't think it's such a stupid idea, and it's not a scam to beat some team members to the loot. It's just to be able to play without my mouse when I'm soloing.

    So, any thought?

    There is a loot assist plugin, but it may not be exactly what you're looking for. If I remember correctly, it places the loot window where your cursor is. Search curse-gaming.com.

    To the best of my knowledge, you couldn't do it.

    Might be wrong, though, but right now I'm much to tired to go a cheacking.

    There are such things in existance, however, they may be deemed "illegal" by blizzard.  Some may consider it part of a bot.  For more information, I would suggest posting the question on the World of Warcraft UI & Macros forums.

    Heh, one thing that made looting easier for me was shift+right clicking on the mob, this loots what you can from it (that you dont have to roll for) and automatically puts it in yor inventory, knocking out the extra step of right clicking on the item itself.

    As he said above SHIFT+CLICK auto picks up the loot.

    Also there is addons that do that as well. Like "Quick Loot" etc etc. Just have a look at the addon sites. There are tons of them
