I myself are a Star Wars fan and i just couldn't believe how bad it was. Ok the fight scenes where done great but there was to much computer crap most of the time the actors wheren't even there it was all computers.
Its just the cheesyness of the whole thing that killed it for me......maybe i expected to much!

I have to agree, this episode had to be the worst of all 6 of them to me. It was horrible, I can't even begin to go into the points on why because it was bad on so many different fronts.

All I have to say was it was the last and the worst, so what George Lucas left me with for Star Wars was pretty bottom of the barrel. Maybe the new Clone Wars cartoons will hold more promise for me ::::04::.

You can't possible think ROTS was worse than PM or AOTC???!image

Plus the effects were outstanding- they looked real unlike the cartoony effects in PM. Acting wasn't great (but then no star wars film has outstanding acting) other than Palpatine - but so what?

I thought the narrative was much tighter and purposeful than the previous movies. It was an epic in every sense of the word.

One thing though how was Palpatines acting 'Good'? He was terrible all anyone can talk low and make gutteral noises.  Yodas acting was better and he wasnt even real.

I saw the movie yesterday. I didn't think I was going to see it and I didn't really care either. There was like a 1% chance that I was going to see it, but it was sort of a spontaneous decision. Anyway, I didn't like the opening story (you know, the yellow floating font) this time. I didn't like how it was worded at any rate.

There was plenty of action (almost too much for me), and the greater part of the movie was animated and I could tell that it was animation. At one point in the movie I was trying to pick out the animated people from the real ones just to see if I could. That was another disappointment since I like the rustic feel of real, live film instead of the blurry, smooth aspect of computer animation. I personally think Yoda looks better as a puppet than as a computer-animated model.

The movie was still entertaining and I think is worth seeing.

The movie was fantastic. Have you noticed the increased dramatic effect its had on the final battle in jedi? Personally i never bought into Darth Vader turning his back on the dark side but after watching revenge of the sith and understanding that his motivation was his fear of loss it all made sense. He couldnt bare the loss of his son /cry so moving :P

Nope, no more movies. George Lucas said that he won't make an episode VII, VIII, and IX, and won't let anyone make it, also.

What do you think we make these kind of threads for then? To show our pretty and pointless feelings about some movie without saying why?

That wouldn't be a fun thread to read now, would it?

me: star wars is the rox0rz.
person: no, that is just your opinion, why don't you explain why?
me: why should i? we can all clearly see it r0x0rz j00 b0x0rz!!11one!
person2: I think star wars sucks.
    person3: yeah me too
person4: i think star wars rocks, you don't know what you're talking about.
    person10: i agree with person2 and person3.

Is that what you want us all to be doing? That's what I see.

Well i like the movie.. Especially the fight scene of Palpatine and Windu I was so funny... well The only time I heard the people laugh is when Yoda uses his jedi power to push the guards of Palpatine...

    Good Day...

  •  I saw "Star Wars:Revenge of the Sith" again last night LOL! While waiting to see

Madadascar. RotS is still enjoyable rewatching it again and again. Madadascar turned out to be an ok movie. NICE for kids, and good for adults too. image

Was watching the original trilogy and realised at once why it was better.

The Revenge Of The Sith was allright, but the Killinh kids scene really wasnt that bad. all they showed was a lightsaber slash.

I've always felt that it was only Han & Leia that made the first trilogy so much better than the latter one. Everyone's always so intent on criticising the recent ones, but they're fundamentally the same damned thing with better special effects. Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher gave the movies some much-needed personality.

Does anyone honestly think Star Wars wasn't "stupid, vacant entertainment" to most cynical adults in 1977? Even Alec Guiness was reportedly ashamed of being a part of them. It's funny when you see the bias of childhood nostalgia elevate what's essentially Buck Rogers into Shakespeare.

That said, I love all six of them. It took me a while to accept the new ones, but I've finally accepted Star Wars for what it truly is.

  • U N B E L I E V E A B L E !!!!!!!!!

I watched it again today, and read the closing credits more closely.... guess who else is in the movie!!!
