Well, I am one of those many who have been banned from the Elder Scrolls game. I still cannot believe this has happened. If I hadn't witnessed this myself, I would have just shrugged it off as a "bad" player just whining about things.
It happened and it is almost NOW comical.
I received my first ban a couple of nights ago, and my second ban less than 12 hours later.
BAN #1 - I was collecting Skyshards to level up points. I entered a dungeon with bad guys at 5 levels above me. I scooted in, traveling behind groups. I made it to the Skyshard in the boss room and collected it. I then turned to see the group of a few players about to hit the boss. I thought . . . I can hit the boss with them and scoot on out, believing that I would be safe with the others fighting along with me. As the boss appeared, I hit the button to charge. I was immediately killed and sent to the log-in screen. I was then restricted from re-entering the game. I posted a ticket to get this straightened out.
After 1 hour, I was contacted, reinstated and told that the "system" made an error.
BAN #2 - IN less than 12 hours, I had just completed questing and leveling up. I proceeded to my in-game home area to repair, destroy some armor for mats, build me a couple of upgraded armor since I had just leveled up, placed some items in the guild store that I had received while grinding, and sold a few runes that were clogging up my bag.
I went to my Main Quest and the character had me enter the quest through a portal. As I was materializing through the portal, I was booted from the game. This time when I tried to log back in, I received a message that my character was already in-game and I could not load a second character. I knew that to be false. I tried to log back in a couple of more times, but now I was receiving a message that my login was incorrect. I also knew that to be false. I began to believe that someone had hacked my account, changed my password, and had loaded another character under my account. My only available visible option was to enter the Elder Scrolls website to my account. I hit the link and was taken to the site.
I began by entering my login information. I received the message that I was RESTRICTED FROM ENTERING THE SITE. I was still believing that someone had hacked me. I selected the only other visible option to reset my password, as if I had forgotten it. I believed that by resetting the password, it would give me back my account from the hacker. I changed the password but could still not access my account. I decided to submit a ticket to get this resolved, as I had done a few hours earlier.
Now, I was thinking I was going to have to wait another hour before I would speak with another CS rep. After several hours, I began looking through the forum threads. I noticed that others were having the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. I also noticed that this was due to moderators believing that this group I was in was cheating in the game. We were directed to submit a request to challenge the ban.
I submitted the request to challenge the ban, but I had no idea of what I was being charged with doing. I sent it in, requesting to be reinstated back into gameplay.
After approximately 12 hours, I received an email, addressing the issue . . . Right? . . . Wrong.
The email stated that I had requested that my account be closed. That was false. I never even eluded to that. I only wanted back into gameplay. I was even very politically correct in my request, making sure to not upset any decision maker. The message even suggested that I return to play the game in the future and that my character would be saved for on their server. All I had to do is access my account and continue with a payment plan.
Only then did the motives behind the second ban become clear to me. The process was very calculated with the boot from the game, the false messaging about my login, the restriction from my account for an unknown reason, the false and unsubstantiated charge of me cheating (and the obvious avoidance in even addressing any allegation of cheating), the message falsely stating that I requested to cancel my account, and the suggestion that I could access my account to play again in the future when I cannot access my account.
It is obvious that they do not want numerous players in this game. I do not know why I am one of those players and why they have concocted NUMEROUS falsehoods to make this happen.
Why not tell me how I cheated?
Why boot me when I was NOT doing anything wrong?
Why restrict me from re-entering the game?
Why restrict me from my TESO account?
Why avoid numerous requests for resolution or explanation?
Why falsely state that I requested to cancel my account?
Something strange is going on with the supervisors of this company. They are making some decisions that are wrong, make no sense, and the negative impact from these obvious unethical decisions are going on without conscience or fear of reprisal. This makes ZERO sense to me. Why would they not want my $15 each month? Strange?
This is not about the $80 I spent on the game. I will be getting all of that back through a charge back with American Express.
I just cannot figure this out.

OP is 100% correct something is definitely screwed up.
I got banned again today and immediately had an email saying they were sorry that they were following up on my earlier ticket to remove my ban, that had already been removed the day before. Apparently when the CS removed my previous wrong ban, he did not remove my ticket, so a new CS comes on shift and goes to remove my removed ban which for some messed up reason reinstates the ban that had already been removed.
Frankly they really need to hire some CS staff from somewhere other than McDonalds.
The current CS team are way in over their heads.
