Well I've been looking for a new game to play...

...And I just realized I had never played UO and well, I have no where else to go. I've tried WoW, FFXI, AC 2, RYL, SoR, CoH, GW, DAoC, EVE, AO, L2, RO, and a few more. Also I feel like I'm missing out on a great mmorpg. I've heard so much about UO I feel so stupid that I've never thought about playing it intill now. So for a player who wants to get into UO right now what would you suggest I buy? I mean what would be the best UO to buy right now? Like shouldn't they have a collectors edition or something with all of the expansions and stuff? Well anyway advice on what to get is appreciated. Thanks!

I strongly advise do not try it. There are to many 3rd party programs withpeople running scripts and EA/Devs do not do anything to stop them. Plus many other reasons.
If you refuse to listen to my advice, just purchase the Ultima Online: Samurai Edition, Its the latest copy of the game and includes every single past expansion in it. $19.99 or $29.99 price cost.
It's not even the bots... this game was actually a great MMORPG before WoW came out. Had you tried it before then, you would have enjoyed it more. It's not that WoW is better, it's that WoW stole this game's population and stole the would-be-UO-newbies and made them into WoW newbies. No newbies, just elite players with stupid names, crappy roleplay (this was a huge feature of the game, especially on the server I played, which had a player-run political system and many player-run raids and events.) macroers and farmers. The population is near dead around the hot-spots.
I quit this game for WoW and came back to see what horrible scars WoW left on it and I went back to WoW. It will never be UO, but even UO will never be the UO I started out playing (and no, Im not making referances to recent patches or the huge AOS patch. Im talking about the once-great community that fell, lol).
I agree about the community. I've played UO a few different times. The first time I played it, the second age or whatever had just come out. This was before Renaissance. It was awesome. But I came back after they did that facet thing, making Fel and Tram, and it wasn't as good. I tried a free demo of it this week, and it sucked hard. The community is crap. It's boring, and most people who still play are douche bags. I'de say avoid this like the plague... which would be a cool UO expansion. They could kill off everyone's characters, then people who have to start over. Then it might be cool. But UO is dying. It's all coming down, and this new expansion, Legacy of Mondain or whatever is not going to help. UXO looked cool, I wonder what happened to that.

You'll find the UO Gold link at the bottom of the page talking about the new Legacy of Mondain expansion. They have some sort of little FAQ, and there's a link to file planet. When you download it, you'll probably have to e-mail them and they'll start your account with a registration code.
