    LOL.  EVE Online is a sandbox which has no quests or purposes to really travel anywhere outside of your home base unless you want to pvp or lose all your stuff.   Darkfall is nothing more then a First Person Shooter with rpg type classes, no quests, no development to anything other then throwing you into an arena to kill each other. 

     

    OP I recommend you try Rust or Dayz, great sandboxes that are a "perfect fit" for what you want.
