Great pet system + solo (currently playing aion)

I'm currently playing aion and I really enjoy the pet class (spiritmaster). For those who haven't played it, this means that I can solo GROUP-INSTANCES that usually require a party. With my pet, I can solo bosses, elites, group instances, etc.

With that being said, I highly dislike the game overall. It's a complete mess.

So yeah, I'm looking a game with a good pet-tanking system that will allow me to solo content otherwise very hard to solo or unsoloable

Anyhow, classes which I feel could solo group content with ease:

-> Rift's mage. Combine Chloromancer and Elementalist and whack at it! The concept is simple: you send in the Rocky, precast Lifegiving veil on it(actually Synthesis, but meh) and Heal him while dmging enemies. Fairly easy.

-> We've already got spiritmaster covered.

-> You could do it in swtor with enough practice and gear. Mostly practice. Tank + Healer combo advised(it doesn't really matter who is which). Also, you could play as a Trooper/BH, use Treek, go Commando/Merc, go DPS route and still Heal her while doing major dmg.

-> Vanguard, but meh. It's about to close within a month ;(

-> Guild Wars 1, but I have a tingling feeling that this game is not what you are looking for.

That's basically it. I've played almost every major MMO out there(wow, GW 1 + 2, LoTRO, Rift, Aion, swtor, AoC, TSW and Vanguard).

Also, what's so wrong with Aion? And EU or NA? Couldn't you just, you know, stay?

I play NA and while I hear horror stories of the EU version, the game is still messy atm. The list is too damn long for me to write all the things wrong with it but i'll list the major thing that has frustrated me:

1. Lack of information/guides. The website is VERY outdated and many links don't work. The forums are dead and outdated as well. A lot of the things in the game you'll literally have no idea about unless you dig deep and read about it somewhere on google. Most of the times, such info cannot even be found. Like for example on my recent quest, I needed to get a certain item to blow up a boulder blocking my way. Nowhere on google, on the forums or anywhere tells you where to find such an item Only experienced players who have played the game know it and the game lacks a 'world chat'. THERE IS NO WORLD CHAT, there is zero chatter. You only get a LFG chat.

In-game offers you no information. There is very limited information on bosses and their skillset. Everything is learned through experience, trial and error and lots of frustration.

In my opinion SWTOR my operative can take on Heroic 4 content .I do have every craft though so my gear is excellent. I think any healer tank combo should work but you need some crowd control to do it really well. They are not pets but companions as they do talk back esp Kaliyo and Khem threatens to eat you half the time.
