ended up getting sick of eyefinity was good on some games and annoying on others. I have decided to just buy a 27' and i am a little unsure which to buy, don't want to spend 2 much but I am looking at either

Is the ips worth the extra $ over the norm lcd? I also have no idea what a pls panel is.

The cheaper monitor is cheaper for a reason: markedly worse image quality. That might bother you or it might not, so whether one of the others is worth the extra money is a matter of opinion.
Even if you're not going to use Eyefinity anymore, I'd highly recommend keeping at least one of the old monitors around, as running multiple independent monitors is really nice for a lot of purposes. Of course, you were likely already planning on doing so.
BBasically PLS is Samsungs version of IPS that they claim is better. Most reviews would argue the tech itself is not superior but rather certain panels that use the tech are.
I'm looking at this maybe for my next monitor, well for my wife actually.

Yeah. DVI is pretty well dead. HDMI and DisplayPort are the new standards since both can support higher resolutions without needing dual cables.
