fram e-core media get holes in them (car oil filter) That is a myth!those user were using the wrong oil for an e-core filter.if you use a non conductive oil .car part will build up static electricity.an e-core cannot discharge it.so if oil cant discharge electricity and oil filter cant you get what?a capacitor.so if you are a e-core user just make sure your engine oil can flow electricity (e-core are very good filter just very badly used because people dont know this relativly new technology)(not intended for racing.hopefully this will stop the non-sense about e-core) Steel capped flter counter the oil job to remove acid.ecore help the oil to get rid of acid(t6,m1ep. Etc)
