For those who have problems downloading the game ..try with "Getright" .The dload for some reason goes "time out" ..so Getright will autoresume your download and everything will be ok.

It is not full pvp, you able to enable the pvp flag. (if you want) but you are default flagged the opposite fraction.

There isnt an item shop. Just paying to unlock loot / drops you have won if you think it is worth it. It only applies to rare equipment & materials, all the standard stuff you get for free.
The big determining factor, which we dont really have any info on yet, is just how big is the power gap between the normal and rare equipment going to be? Will you need rares to be competitive or can you still hold your own with standard, just losing a little bit of an edge? Will any of the stuff be bound or will it be able to be traded as in, someone pays to unlock a really good rare weapon does it become bound to them on pickup or can they then turn around and sell it for in game gold? Same with materials. As long as a decent amount of this stuff is able to be traded it may not be so bad.
i already have my beta activated and installed waiting for tomorrow to start. However, i know i will uninstall it as soon as i see Snail games' pseudo subscription (renting) on inventory bags and cosmetic items. That alone killed Age of Wushu for me in a blink of an eye. Unfortunately for them, I cant take that much greed.
ALso the pay to loot system in this game is another deal breaker, but the renting is what kills it the most.
It's too bad the most interesting class they showed, the Occultist, is gender-locked =(

Occult interesting?!? For pervs maybe. That's probably why they gender locked it. Men go with well tried and proved to work things, like sword & board, hammer, tommy gun, maybe a fireball, basketball, pizza, that kind of things.
The game graphics based off the snap-shots here look pretty good, but Snail Games has a bad reputation for making games in my opinion a failure, I mean go look @ Age OF Wushu, which is supposed to be a Sand-Box game, but is completely Pay 2 Enjoy model, Clothing and cosmetics are all (Rented) no perm items I can go there and buy now, no Perm-Mounts, and Very limited crafting ability's in the game its not possible to master everything which makes the game no longer a Sand-Box. So based off my personal experience with their developers, lack of proper updates, no serious communication I would say a game possibly has potential, but if the game is worth playing is beyond me I would have to try the game for myself and see if its a True Sand-Box with no limits before I would know.

That's a heuristic result. It doesn't necessarily mean there is a trojan. A lot of anti-cheating / bot detection programs use invasive procedures much like malware.
Submit the file to your AV manufacturer so they can study it further and/or whitelist it if the file is safe.
I 'll tell you what i did, i removed the file from the game's directory and the game is running fine... which suggests that it might be some leftover from some developer PC which happens to be a virus hive... but yeah chances are that it's nothing. Just being cautious - it never hurts. I submitted the file to my antivirus site as well, yes.
Some seem to be spazzing over this game because of how it looks and its character creation.

While the game originally looked promising, with this new information, its off my list. It sounds like just another Asian Gankfest grinder.
Now all they need is full loot and perma death, to make it a Goonies dream game...<face palm>

Yes server was down yesterday, it's up today.
I like the artstyle of this game.
It is on my list on games I have to try but the need to constantly buy new mounts sounds a bit annoying.
Then again, to be able to play a steampunk dude in cylinder hat sounds great.
