Bugs are one of the main issues in ESO though. If anything they are slowing down some of the developmental work that is needed to try and put this game in the right direction. Granted you didn't say anything about them, but that is part of why you have said grievances with the game. I'm still patiently waiting for them to add the 12 man trials in with the Craglorn update. Depending on how that goes my pve to pvp ratio in the game may change.
As for gw2 cash shop look at it this way. Say I play another game where it's just starting out and gold isnt easy to come by. The cash offers some items that people would throw 60-90% of their current gold to obtain. Magnify that multiple times (varies on the casher) You now have someone with an obscene amount of currency early on in game. A lot of key advantages open up. It's not direct p2w, but it can have an impact on the game. Cash shops that are open for that kinda manipulation will hopefully never get near games like ESO and WS.

I will agree that bugs indeed, do play a very big role in a game launch, but if the game have potential, people will : 1) keep playing even with bugs as they know the bugs will "go away" , and 2) will quit and come back when bugs have been fixed.
Where and how ESO will look in the future even with those bugs? Time will tell, but I don't really see this game going strong. But don't mind me, if you like the game, play it , no problem with that. Actually I am happy for you that you found a "home game".
As for the GW2 cash-shop, maybe, and that is a big maybe if the game was your typical MMO with gear progression, but we both know that GW2 is not that kind of a game.
