Is this mmo deep ONLY because of crafting ?

    Yes, EVE is definitely a game with depth and contrary to EVE, AA crafting is just a set of sort of mini games with no relation to the rest of the game - it's just a fluff.The fact that there is no item decay and heavy RNG crafting speaks volume.

    I am not saying it is anything bad, depth isn't required in an MMO by any means, imo it is mostly a waste of development time. I am just pointing it out so people do not get false expectations.
