I think the developers made so many mistakes on ESO like I can't even play because they want me to pre-pay an additional 30 days in advance, but Wild Star just I couldn't stand the character models or how the game looked at all to me it was awful.
I think ESO beats Wild Star, but that is me, I also think GW2 is better than Wild Star.
I think Wild Star could have been great, but they need to go back to the drawing board, upgrade character models, and game-play.
I also know that the game will have to be F2P because no one is going to pay a monthly fee for the game at least I wouldn't heck I still Like Lineage 2 better if only they did something to protect my account back in the day I might still be playing it today.
Had to vote Wildstar. ESO was one of the first games in a long time I resisted the call to buy. Too many consistent, legitimate-sounding complaints from forum posters here (thanks for saving me money, guys!) coupled with one too many meh beta weekends. The game has it's high lights, but it's definitely not for me. Wildstar at least has housing. Still not %100 sold on it, but it's tempting.
I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy, accompanied by an educational system which would be oriented toward social goals.

Wildstar makes such a bad initial impression, i started regreting my pre-order, i couldin't quit the beta cause i was playing with a few friends, whom i draged along.......
AND THEN we started leveling up and reached our first dungeon and really we were all reallyimpressed, everything starts to come together and combat being one of them.
I was wanting to refund my preorder and buy archeage alpha (the game i'm really really looking forward to) , but since its launch is still far from sight, wild start wil do till then, or who knows even more.
Yeah. I bought the archeage alpha. I have a level 50 and it`s an amazing game. But I will be playing Wildstar until AA finally released. I had a great time in the alpha met some great people but i didn`t want to do everything and burn myself out. But I think Wildstar will tide me over nicely until that happens. which is why i voted WS.
The big problem with this poll is that eso is going through the one month quit in disgust phase, while wildstar has the excited for release vibe going on... So wildstar will obviously win.
That said, eso - amazingly, depressingly - is yet one more example of a game that released in such a poor state that it effectively commited suicide. There are no second chances after a catastrophic drop off in subs after the first month. Its hope for redemption is the console release... And right now PC players are paying beta testers for that. All power to em, I guess.

And most people can only tolerate playing second fiddle for so long. Lucky for ZOS that there are some hardcores that will stick around on the PC long enough to help keep them afloat until they get the console release. Then the cycle will just start all over again.
Both completely different type of MMO's. Only thing they have in common is both being more themepark-ish
I am going for ESO. I like the more relaxing overall atmosphere, both visually as in gameplay.
Had some fun in Wildstar and really like many of it's feature's but at the moment the game is just "too busy" on the eye's for me if that makes any sense.....
This thread is very interesting to me (such that I stopped merely lurking and signed up at mmorpg.com). I played ESO and like many people was very disappointed, both in the game itself and in myself for buying into the hype. So I haven't pre-ordered Wildstar or allowed myself much interest on that basis. Fool me twice, shame on me, has been my thinking. So it's interesting to me that many people here have played both and from those who chose one or the other (i.e. not rejecting both), the clear winner is Wildstar. Makes me think I should give Wildstar a go. Mind you, if I do I'll still wait 'til a couple of months after release. Again, the bad taste of ESO is still in my mouth.
I was disappointed in eso much like yourself and have bought wildstar and briefly played in beta and it's looking good so far. I'm personally looking for that huge vanilla wow world test, seamless and interesting world - so I applied the 'what happens if I just swim atriums the coast' test just like the old days and huge relief, no hidden walls and was able to enter a zone that was lethal to me - awesome sauce . Your idea of waiting is sound, maybe with trying to get a week trial pass of a friend - we all get free passes to hand out.
