Get EQ2 while playing WoW?

Takata5Takata5 Member Posts: 336

I'm wondering if I should get EQ2? I'm still currently playing WoW, but I miss the grouping factor. In WoW hardly anyone groups. I'm finding myself bored often because everyone solo's. I use to play EQ1 so thats why I like to group. I read somewhere on here though that they still solo in EQ2 until about lvl 20, and then you have to find a guild from there or its a hard grind. Whats the level cap of EQ2? I think my system should handel it pretty well. It handels WoW extreamly well, everyone complains about lag but I don't get any at all. My system stats are:

AMD64 Athlon 3000+

1 gig of ram

ASUS 128mb N6600 video card.

I'll be getting EQ2 mostly for when I'm bored with WoW and log off I'll log on EQ2. I heard there's also 10 discs to install the game.  Thats not a problem but wow, ten discs?

the level cap is currently 50, but will be raised to 60 come expansion time. although past 20 guilds aren't required, they are GREAT to have and make the game a lot more fun! grouping also isn't required past 20 but it is much faster xp. you shouldnt have too much trouble finding groups either, as most people do group.

ya your computer should handle the game well! ::::28::

Im in the same boat. I stopped EQ2 for a while to play WoW but now some days I just need a break from WoW so I resubscribed to EQ2. I love EQ2 its a charming game with tons of extras having been added since launch. I got the station access pass thing so i can play SWG also for the one price. It rocks image

My advice, make sure you play on an RP server, AB seems to have the most steady population.

The other servers are thinning out.
